My Philosophy on Physical Education Physical education should be a fun class, but fun does not have to mean chaos. I believe in a structure that will allow the students to have fun in a safe way. My lesson plans will be structured so that students are constantly engaged in physical activity. I feel that if I can keep students moving and learning, then the chances of misbehavior will decrease. In elementary school I feel that Instant Activities should be used to get students moving when they get into my class. High school is a little different. I feel that students at the secondary school level should be introduced physical fitness activities that will help keep them in shape later on in life. Guy Montag, usually referred to as “Montag,” is a third generation fireman in the world of Fahrenheit 451 (Bradbury 42). His world is a place where firemen start fires rather than putting them out; until the start of the book he does not question anything he is told (Bradbury 15). Montag goes through a series of events that cause him to doubt what he has always known. He learns that not all people are what his society finds normal, and when a woman is burned alive he feels that he needs to know more about what these books are all about (Bradbury 16, 35). As these events unfold before him, Guy becomes more and more intrigued with the books. Montag throughout the novel faces situations and meets people who opens his eyes about society Montag is a fireman in the society; however, the job fireman takes on an entirely different meaning. Instead of stopping fires, Montag starts them. In the society literature is outlawed and it’s his job to burn the book along with the houses that held them.
Guy Montag changes from a stolid character, incognizant of his surroundings, to a person conscious of everything, so enlightened by the new world he is exposed too. There are many people in Montag's society that help him change. The people who influence him to change are Montag's wife Mildred, his next door neighbor Clarisse, and his boss, the chief of police, Beatty. At the beginning of the novel Guy Montag, is a devoted fireman, he loves his job and never questioned society. Once his wife attempts suicide, Montag begins to question the monotony and drabness which his society is enveloped by. When he meets Clarisse, a new side of him is brought to light. She encourages him to question why things are the way they are. Questions like why books aren’t allowed? His development is complete, as he becomes a rebel and a fugitive and finally, at the novel's resolution, decides to rebuild society.

Physical activity should be encouraged at an early age. It would be best to make physical education a required school curriculum. A student taking a physical education class will have many benefits. For example, a child taking a physical education class will learn about proper exercising. It would also be wise if the instructors integrated information about healthy eating habits into the curriculum to further increase a child?s knowledge on good dieting. This will help a child develop physically more in strength and endurance which in turn will build healthy bones, muscles, and muscle development. Furthermore, at the same time a child will maintain a healthy weight from eating a nutritional diet. Having studied some physical education classes from personal experience, the coach was very passionate about being healthy. Before leaving P.E. class everyday, he would review all the major food groups and stress that the students stay away from fried foods and consume more fruit in their diet.

During the past decade, there have been exceptional levels of funding and resources solely aimed at physical education and school sport within the United Kingdom (UK). The DFE suggests that 57% of children with SEND attend a mainstream school (DfES 2007). Physical Education (PE) has been a rising topic of discussion due to decrease in activity and an increasing level of child obesity within the UK(Coates and Vickerman 2009). There are various implemented strategies such as Physical Education School Sport and Club Links (PESSCL) and Physical Education and Sports Strategy for Young People (PESSYP), which are instruments to ‘direct and guide practice and policies’ (Fitzgerald and Stride, 2012). Using these governmental strategies, schools try and challenge and attempt to increase participation and engagement with the aim of providing ‘high quality PE lessons’ (Griffin 2012), which targets the government initiative particular the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games to encourage an promote inclusive PE and school sport (Green 2009). Additionally, Fitzgerald and Stride (2012) distinguish on the concluding issue of inclusion should be recongised as part of a broader international concern to promote inclusive education (Forlin et al. 2008). There are various aspects, which are of high debate within inclusion regarding the national curriculum, initial teacher training and experiences of student and teachers.
The goal of this paper is to inform others of my reasoning why physical educators are important and why it is my dream to become one. There are three main points I would like to discuss: the value of physical education ,being a role model ,and why it is my dream to become one.
Walt Whitman’s writing is often argued about how he exhibits very little style, due to his free form sense of poetry. Though the structure he writes with is unconventional to say the least, he definitely has a sense of style and form that he writes with, and his style isn’t nearly as messy and thoughtless as most pundits would suggest. Whitman’s writing does not have an arrangement that can be easily confined, and give credit that he does not conform to the usual realm of literary style (much like Dickinson). Even though Whitman’s poetry doesn’t follow the conventional poetic protocol, the way other poets like Bradstreet and Longfellow do, it definitely has a certain structure and general themes that he tries incorporating , in spite of it’s sometimes hectic looking technique.
Opponents of physical education in schools state that gym is not the best way to utilize students’ time. Students’ should be given the choice to participate in gym class or not because many students aren’t as athletic and don’t enjoy it enough to want to do it in school. Despite this downfall, PE is important in students’ life and even though some don’t enjoy it as much, they need it in order to be successful in life. If not, diseases and health risks could come up and it wouldn’t be robust. Ultimately, physical education provides superior benefits.

There are many positive aspects to the question. Physical education classes, combined with nutrition classes could have a lifelong effect on the students who take said classes. When combined with dietary information the classes may improve eating choices, help students’ keep the “freshman ten” to a minimum, and keep students from allowing time crunches to have a negative impact on their dietary habits in the rush of a hectic life. Any general physical education classes could help students’ life styles if they stick with the skills and routines taught in the classes.
