“I pet a Human being for 5 years”
Everyone has their own kind of hobby. Some like to pet a dog, some people like to pet a bird but my hobby was very different from others because I pet a man i.e. a human being. If you pet someone, you have a special feeling attached to them and you start treating them like a family member. You start loving and caring each other. Even though dog and bird cannot speak, they use their gestures to communicate with you. Already you start having good and special bonding with each other. But sometimes, animal can be very faithful and human can deceive you. Isn’t it very ashamed to hear how an animal can never betray you but a human being who is far more educated and wiser than animal can leave you in pain after all

As soon as the legal residency fell in his hand, he started acting little bit different. When he got a job, his attitude changed in a blink of eyes. He started to treat me and my family like a useless people. But I was the only one who knew about his truth but my parents were unknown to his real image. I kept on tolerating whatever he said and did to me thinking he might change one day. My love will change him eventually but nothing like that happened. Physically, mentally, emotionally, sexually, economically and legally kept on abusing me on the constant basis.
One day, he decided to take me back home Nepal in order to meet with his mom. As we got married here, I have never seen my mother in law. He promised me to have a big reception over there. I was very excited and started thinking how I am going to look on that big day, what I will be wearing and what kind of jewelries I will wear this and that. Every girl has a dream of this kind of stuffs in her life and I am not exception to

We left our house key to one of our cousin but they had made a duplicate key. So it is very obvious that they had made this game plan very earlier. Do you know guys what he did after that, he filed for divorce and wanted to get rid of me in his life. I pleaded him million times and begged him to stop for divorce. Several times I sent him emails but later I figured out that my emails will directly go to the trash folder. How painful was that for me to know? The man I love most in the world has so much hatred towards me. The divorce case is still going on and the most disgusting thing is that the amount of loan I paid for his school tuition –he is not willing to pay back. See what else i can expect from him more in the divorce settlement. Now I learned a lesson, do not trust anyone and do not believe in promises because those things can be broken without any hesitation and feeling of guilty. Now that devil is living a good and happy life and I am the one who is suffering
Pets can have real jobs like people. Dogs-rescuers save lives together with people. For instance, when people get in appalling avalanches courageous dogs-rescuers help to find them. Also, some breeds of dogs, e.g. sheep dog, badger-dog, labrador, spaniel, and so on, serve at customs. More than that, they can find illegal things like drugs, dangerous weapons, or explosive stuff. What’s more, they help to control order and assist in avoiding terrible acts of terrorism. Some people literally can't live without pets. For example, blind people need guide-dogs to move around their homes. The connection between such masters and their pets becomes really strong and truly close and a person gets pet-dependent in this case. Enthusiastic owners devote their life to pets. They try to make the best for them and like to take part in exhibitions. Pet's clothes, food, houses, brushes take on special value for
But like an exception to every stereotype, my experience with a human –animal relationship is also an exception. When I was twelve, I received a pair of kittens as my birthday gift. I was never an animal lover so I wasn’t too excited to receive it. But as the days went by, spending time with them developed a soft corner for them. Unlike dogs, with cats it’s more of a give and take relationship. You have to spend time with them and show them you care for them to be able to reciprocate the same care and concern for you. The more time I spent with them, the more founder and inseparable I grew of them.
When you look at someone’s pet you may not think it can teach you anything or do anything for you besides being there for you. However, a study in Austria, conducted by Pauleen Bennett and Jordan Schaan, discovered that pets became “instructors” for their owners in living a better life. “People felt they could derive unconditional love and forgiveness from their dogs, whereas human beings seemed more likely to disappoint one another” (Yuhas, 1). This statement reveals how negatively humans view each other. If a person rather be with an
He was not able to hold a job. In the 1970’s men were responsible for taking care of the financial accept of the home while women stayed home and took take care the kids, cleaning, cooking and laundry. Not that it is a bad thing that their stay at home dads these days because women are providing for the home. I feel that in my ex-husbands case he has a disease he needs to get help for in turn it made him a lazy man that stayed home. I was the financial provider. I went to work every day while he was at home. Over time My ex-husband became physically and mentally abusive. He was arrested thirty-five times. Every time he was arrested he was released because the cops would say, “ well ma'am you hit him back, if you press charges he can press charges and your kids would go into foster care.” I would take him back every time thinking he is going to change, this will never happen again. Unfortunately it got worse. I found myself last December in another domestic dispute with my ex-husband on December 23,2014 I finally left him. My family had no idea the nightmare I was living in behind closed doors. At, my last court date the DA came up to me and said to me “we are sorry we failed you and your family. We should have fought harder for
Even pets have great relationships with humans, but humans are more likely having difficulty and discords in relationships between themselves. They will have disappointments and heartbreaks, revenge and hope the other one to be miserable, but the next step to deal with a broken relationship is depends on what "mindset" they have. In Carol S. Dweck's Mindset, she writes about two different mindsets which are either Fixed Mindset or Growth Mindset. When people with the fixed mindset believe that their qualities and intelligence are given, they could not do much to change it. On the other hand, people who have the growth mindset see their abilities and intelligence can expand, they can work on them to develop themselves. When two mindset occurring in a terrible relationship, people with fixed mindset will lash out and hope they could wound the person who inflicted this bad relationship. However, for the people who had growth mindset are comfortable to forgiving, understanding, and moving on. Everyone wants a great relationship, but the one who has a growth mindset seems to be more successful because he is willing to confront and resolve the
In the article “No, animals don’t have rights” (2014), the author argues that the movement for animals rights is reducing humans to animals, or upgrading animals to humans. However, this is not entirely true, humans are also animals, but with a higher degree of intelligence. In the article “Yes, animals have feelings” (2014), has shown that most scientists agree that vertebrates animals are, to different degrees, sentient. Humans can’t understand what they feel exactly, but we can notice their change in behavior and emotion. Animals are responsive and expressive, they have their intentions and preferences. Opponents believe that animals don 't have rights or that even if they do, those rights should count for less than human desires; others believe giving animals rights would demean humanity and animal rights must be rejected; also, that human welfare is more important than animal welfare, interests of animals should be overruled when necessary. A research by the Clever Dog Lab at the University of Vienna, shows that dogs, just like humans, glance at the left side of the human face first, this is where the bilateral brains exhibit more emotion. Therefore, dogs rapidly read mood and intentions. A research led by Giorgio Vallortigara of the University of Trento, found that dogs were relaxed when they watched videos of dogs wagging their tails mainly to the
...ference between humans and dogs is that once a human gets over something traumatic, the dog will not leave. A dog is not going to run away only to be seen when the next tragedy strikes. A dog is one of the most loyal and loving creatures on the planet and will be available before and after tragedy strikes.
just trying to make a decent living but cannot because of the way he is being
In conclusion, science shows that dog’s interaction with humans makes them more than just pets because dogs interact like human children and canines assist in various forms of human therapy. For most people who own a dog, the title of man’s best friend given to a canine is a well-deserved name earned over the centuries for this member of their family.
Writing in the journal Anthrozoos, Kiesler advocates that, “relationships with animals lead people to explain their behavior in human terms” (340). The study done by Kiesler went after the psychological effects of the ownership in dogs. I agree that, once enough time is spent with an animal, the owner will begin to associate their behavior with human behavior because of how attached the dog will become to the owners life. The time commitment to a dog will give you more than enough time to become attached. The studies done by Kiesler reaffirms Blythe’s work that went further into detail
... and faithfulness that cannot be found from any other source. Even the most hardened of hearts can be touched by a cold wet nose or a comforting snuggle. Pets seem to be able to recognize and adapt to many of the conditions placed on them in our human environment. They can provide the sense of companionship, and love that is lacking in regular human relationships.
... concept. An animal cannot follow our rules of morality, “Perhaps most crucially, what other species can be held morally accontable” (Scully 44). As a race humans must be humane to those that cannot grasp the concept. Animals do not posess human rights but they posess the right to welfare and proper treatment by their handlers.
Owning a Pet Having a pet is a wonderful idea! Pets bring companionship, personality, and gut wrenching humor to households across the world. Having previously owned both a cat and a dog, and currently being without a pet, I began to think about getting a new furry friend. Born a dog lover, and bred into a cat lover, I had the difficult decision of choosing one of the two. When I was twenty-two years old, I answered an advertisement in the paper for free Labrador puppies.
It’s fair to assume there should be disparity between the way cats and cows are treated, or the way chickens and dogs are. Certain animals have their place in the animal kingdom, grazing animals like cows and chickens have historically been used as a food source since the concept of animal husbandry was introduced, on the other end of the spectrum cats and dogs have been domesticated and kept as common house pets. The suggestion that livestock have the same emotions and feelings as a typical housecat can be up to debate. Peter Singer states that the behavior of some apes, dolphins and dogs suggest they have emotions and desires. All of the evidence, or the lack thereof, leads to issues concerning the ethical treatment of all animals.
I finally had to eat something light before my stomach ate itself, although I don’t know that I was fully hungry, or if I was just nervous, either way I ate a chopped up apple and yogurt with granola being very careful to not ruin my makeup. After eating a light breakfast the moment I had dreamed of as a child came, putting on my wedding dress. I had been waiting for that moment for such a long time, theres something magical about trying on your wedding dress the day of the wedding, it makes everything feel complete and whole. When I looked in the mirror looking back at me was a beautiful young woman that was full of excitement and happiness that made me get emotional, I had to force back tears for I didn’t want to look like a clown with makeup running down my face. By that time my aunts and uncles showed up to celebrate with the bride and make a toast. The pink champagne was so satisfying when it went down my throat, it felt cool and light that I could’ve easily had another glass, but I wanted to pace myself I still had a long day ahead of me. The photographers wanted to do pre ceremony pictures outdoors which was awful due
