There are mysteries throughout that world that are being solved that some of us may not know. If it is about space, science, or anything that one may think about we all wonder sometimes. “Do aliens exist?”, “How were dinosaurs created?”, “What came first the chicken or the gg?”, and so on. But what I have realized is that these are not the mysteries one should worry about. Throughout my childhood I always thought I would be happy everyday. I thought when I get the things I want I would be accomplished and happy, but I was wrong. It never occurred to me that having all this valuables would not give me happiness. I would try my best, but nothing in my mind would click. Days would go on where I would be stressed and depressed even nothing bad …show more content…
The solution to happiness was different amongst people. For example, Rapper J. Cole said in an interview that the highest level of success is happiness. He describes that even though he had everything in the world someone can wish for, he was not happy. He was confused that what he has he still did not find any joy in that. He realized that he wanted to be in the next level all the time because he thought that 's what makes happiness, but finds out what actually made him happy was his friends and family by his side. As a kid I did not face any problems that would affect me, but as I grew up they all started to compile on me. I knew there was something similar to J. Cole that would make me happy. People will always have money so that should not cause happiness. People will always have the things they like so that should not cause happiness. So what causes happiness? I thought back to all the times I was happy in my life and they were the times when I had accomplished a goal that I had set. I finally realized that if I set goals or dreams in my life, I can work hard for they and surely they will make me …show more content…
You can be the richest person in the world, but if you 're not happy what is the point? The reason people succeed in the world is to be happy and not let anything drag you down. For some it may be difficult, but if you spend time to find the heart of the reason it will stay with you till the day you die. I will admit though I have not yet accomplished my happiness goal, but I know that once I do I won 't have to worry about no more. “Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action.” says Benjamin Disraeli. So if I were to ask myself the question “What creates happiness?” I will always know what to say. Happiness is created from what you believe will make you wake up everyday with a smile on your face. It 's created when you enjoy what you do. It 's created when you accomplish life goals. Happiness depends ouself whether we accept it or deny
Before we look into specifics, we’ll examine the history and development of “happiness” as a philosophy. Of course, the emotion of happiness has always existed, but it began to be seriously contemplated around 2,500 years ago by philosophers like Confucius, Buddha, Socrates and Aristotle. Shortly after Buddha taught his followers his Noble Eight Fold Path (which we will talk about later), Aristotle was teaching that happiness is “dependent on the individual” (Aristotle).

Think about what would make you happy right now. Most of us would say something that relates to money or something luxurious we see on TV shows. Maybe a new car would make you happy or the house of your dreams. We all have analogous goals and aspirations. From a young age, we are programmed to want certain things. We see images in movies or in TV shows that are appealing. We think that with money, all of our tribulations will wash away. That’s why people go to work or buy lottery tickets or even gamble. We want what society has told us we want our whole lives and we are not fully satisfied with life until we obtain these goals. Society builds this perfect image in our heads of what happiness is supposed to look like and today’s modern technologies and our upbringings are significantly influenced by it.

The one secret to actually getting happiness has nothing to do with setting goals or achieving them. To obtain your definition of happiness, firstly, be more optimistic and have a positive outlook on all opportunities and not look for “happy moments,” because “happy moments” can last for so long. All in all, happiness equals appreciating each and every moment for whatever it has to offer, and to add personal values and purpose onto your life. This all might make happiness hard to achieve, but the up side is that happiness can be created in any situation. There are plenty of stories of people facing hardships in their life, but would still find happiness in their family, faith, and career, and the hardships just doesn’t seem too hard after all.
Happiness is an inner state of well-being and fulfilment, and therefore it has to come from inside. Every individual has his or her own emotions and way of thinking and as a result of this no one can really say what happiness is and what happiness is not. However, universally, happiness is a by-product of a healthy attitude and viewpoint. Happiness exists in everyone whether they choose to acknowledge and believe it or not. It is not rare nor is it something only the elite have: everyone has it but not everyone recognizes it. Contentment is finding a light at the end of every dark tunnel and in order to experience this we must ignore the pessimism surrounding us and remind ourselves that happiness is not a materialistic object but a choice and frame of mind.

Happiness is a feeling that humans naturally desire. Without it, one feels incomplete. In this generation, happiness has taken on a definition by how we are presented to one another. It is measured by how much money we have, how famous we are, or the things we possess. When in reality, none of these things guarantee a happy life. Happiness is something that cannot be bought with money, but rather, it must be found, earned, sought after. Each and every one of us has our own list of things that we consider to make us happy. However, happiness shines brightest through the relationships we create, and the goals we make for ourselves to strive after. Along with these two essential sources, we then can mix and match those things in life that we enjoy to create our own unique formula for happiness.
What exactly is happiness anyway? Happiness is when you feel complete and satisfied. It is when you’re content with where you are and what you have. It is the joy of doing something you love, or spending time with someone you love. It is an emotion and the best one yet. Money can easily make a person temporarily happy with the possessions it can buy, but true happiness is more than that. People can have everything material wise and still not be happy. Sure it can buy you many things, but the happiness from it is only temporary and limited. There’s only so much happiness you can buy with money. Money can easily buy you food, a clock, a house, education, make-up or medication; however it can’t buy you nutrition, time, a home, knowledge, beauty or health. It can buy you infatuation, but not love, acquaintances but not friendship and hierarchy but not respect.
