My mom was the most sensible and beautiful person I have ever known. She was a statuesque woman with gorgeous, raven- black hair which perfectly bordered her oval shaped face. Her skin resembled that of a porcelain doll, and her voice was like that of an angel. Her perfectly formed, thin, pink lips often spoke of love and motivation. Her strong hands were testimony of the hard work and dedication that she always put forth to keep the farm and family going. Performing above and beyond with every task was how she lived her life; nothing was too small to be done right. As a young, single parent, she worked day and night to keep my sister fed and clothed. After she met my father and had my brother and me, she continued to work tirelessly. This woman was the bond that held my family together, an inspiration to me, and the most influential person in my life. During my growing up years, this amazing woman passed many quality traits on to me.
