“STELLAAAAA!!!!”, cried Stanley Kowalski to his wife in hope that she would forgive him. Even from a young age, people have been reenacting this scene from the moment they met me. With this, my name has set me apart from others all my life. I am the only Estella my age and there are still very few others named Estella. My name means star in more than one language and that is why I believe I am one of a kind! Just to clarify, my parents did not name me after Stanley’s wife, but after my great-great grandmother, Estella May White and her daughter Virginia Marie Godwin. My parents borrowed their names in order to get Estella Marie Seaman. Of course, I'm close to my family. Especially when we were growing up, my cousin Jordan and I, were extremely close. My mother is actually the biggest influence in my life. My mother tells me about when I was younger. For example, this one day when I was around 2 years old and she found me with an entire bottle of lotion in my hair. My mother has always been an excellent teacher for me. She makes the most exquisite mashed potatoes and cube steak, which is obviously my favorite meal. Luckily my mom has shared her love to cook with me by teaching me how to make it myself. My mother also shared her love of music with me by forcing me to listen join the band. I really didn’t want to join the band because I assumed that I would become the next Leonardo da Vinci if I took art, but my mother refused. My choices were choir or band and if you have ever heard me sing you know why I chose band. Looking back on that choice, I am infinitely grateful for my mother. Because she was more stubborn than me in so many situations I now have the best things in my life. My love of Bon Jovi, Harry Potter, band, and most importantly, Jesus Christ directly relates to my
