Personal Narrative: Who I Am Today

In my short 16 years there have been many experiences I have encountered in life that shape who I am. My identity today. As time has passed experiences have come one after another for me to learn. What has shaped me influenced me in this short time period are many things the topic around this lies around my social construct. I am a lot of things, I am someone who looks as a shy, quite, smart, nice etc. person. Those simple qualities that make who I am have been influenced upon me and in general just who I am. What has shaped me present day is my family structure and my education the most to shape my identity.
My education is something that has shaped who I am today more than I realized. To the people who have been involved in my education. For the goal I have set for myself it’s a dream a dream with plan. For that goal I have set high expectations.

That goal of success and achievement that I can do it if I work hard and do well in school that my goal will be achieved. That goal that I have made for myself that dream I have of being successful get the career I have wanted. To then being able to be successful in the business world. My goal is simple I want success for myself, but that’s not the end result. The steps toward that dream that goal of mine is to first go to college and I want to go to Lewis University. I want to be someone whose education has paid off in high school those hours doing homework late at night plus working final payoff. To have all those final steps lead to the final product of the goal to be someone in the business world who has achieved success. To be able to tell myself all those hard steps were worth it to get to where I am today in the present future. To be proud of myself as an adult of my dedication and hard work. Those effort put into school those nights when I would just be overwhelmed with having homework in every subject having to play catch up in class. To then end up doing better and better to achieve success. Those steps leading up to going to college majoring in business and then the final product be reached of achieving that goal. To finally be able to say I did it. Like a person climbing a mountain all those hard steps to get up high and then finally reach the top and say “I did it “‘I can do it” “It is possible”. To that extend of reaching my goal, my dream has still at last, one final key thing I want to do for my mom that once I start having enough income and savings bit by bit construct a house for her. When my mom used to live in Mexico she worked and bought property to construct a house there and she didn’t get the chance she got the opportunity to come to the U.S.A and she met my dad had us kids and then had to raise us so she didn’t get to construct her house she was going to do in Mexico yet. That’s where I want to do something for her.
My family has impacted me in so many ways.

My family structure has impacted me to make me who I am today. To the way I act and just who I am in general as a person. My mom has influenced me the most she is the one I have spent mostly with at home since I was little she is my role model. She is a nice and kind person and she has taught me to care for others to appreciate things and to learn from my mistakes she is the person I care for and my family she has showed me real life situations and has showed me that family is important. That family is more important because people come and go, but you will always have a family that is there for you and will be there for you no matter what there is always someone in the family that will be there for me. She has shaped me in religion to be close to the church ects. She has been there for more the most because of how I have grown up closer to my mom then my dad because of his job shifts at night . That she has shaped me in my beliefs and what I want to do for myself in the future. That is why my education structure and my family structure impacts and create the person I

am.
