I first starting playing at the YMCA with all my friends from my school. I liked that it was fun and I got to spend more time with my friends even after school. My parents were scared to tell us because they thought he wouldn't want to meet us or anything. It turns out he was very excited to meet us. We first met him at my sisters singing competition. It wasn't awkward or anything like that. It seemed like we were really close already. 3rd grade I took my first vacation to Florida. We went to florida because my brother moved there after college. It was the best time getting to stay in his apartment and go to the beach all together. It was the first time in Florida that I got to try oysters, lobster, and octopus. I never remembered going to the beach until then. In 5th grade was the first time I ever played club volleyball. I played for ABBA with two of my friends from my school. We were the first three to play club volleyball because nobody really else knew about it. 5th grade was also the year that everybody got to go to D.C. I roomed with my two best friends Riley and Ashley. We were all so surprised with how pretty Washington D.C.
I was born on September 15th, 1999 in a small town called Watervliet, MI. I was the first born out of three children, and the only girl. Growing up as the oldest and the only girl in a traditional Mexican family was definitely not the easiest thing to deal with. My parents have always been strict with me, which I believe has shaped me to be a responsible woman. I have two younger brothers who are 15, and 10 years old.

#Me Too is an international movement against sexual harassment and assault. It being used on social media to help demonstrate the widespread prevalence of sexual assault, especially in the work place. The term sexual harassment was only coined in 1975 by a group of women at Cornell University after an employee, Carmita Wood, filed for unemployment benefits after she had resigned because her supervisor touched her inappropriately (Reed, 2013). The term “Me Too” was first used more than a decade ago by social worker activist Tarana Burke as part of her work building solidarity among young survivors of sexual harassment and assault (Jaffe, 2018).
I have lived in Cleveland my whole life and I was born on November 17,1970 at 4 pm exactly at Mt.Sinai hospital, but of course that is torn down now (laughs) y’all wouldn’t know anything about that. One of my earliest memories was riding a big wheel with a little neighborhood
On March 18th, 2016 I had the pleasure of seeing University of Central Florida’s production of She Loves Me. When it comes to musicals I am usually rather picky just because I tend to zone out during long ballads, but even though She Loves Me, time wise, was not the shortest play, it flew by the fastest out of the three productions I had attended this semester. Throughout the entire musical I was completely submersed in the storyline, experiencing a compilation of different emotions as the story progressed. I went from laughing, to crying, to holding my breath wondering what was going to happen. For me, She Loves Me is a story about a society still blinded to cynicism-where real love still exists.
