Imagine... the whole school, friends, teachers, and parents looking at you like. Teachers are looking at you saying inside their heads, “one day teacher I hope many students can be like that boy who shows that he gave his everything that he could just to get to where he is right now.” Also if you try your best everything you did was worth taking risks for. Knowing that all students should look up to that boy and say “Through my middle school here hope one day us students can be like that.” Is this how people are going to remember you? Is this the legacy you want to leave behind, people remembering who you are for doing this? A legacy is how you want to be remembered. Sometimes people leave behind an amazing legacy that some people won’t forget, but others are not so lucky. Some people leave a bad legacy that no one wants to remember. The one that legacy that leaves myself is a smart, respectful, and a responsible legacy. Legacy? However, everday people want to leave a great legacy, that will have touched the lives on my family, teacher, classmates, and many more. The look that my teacher and family smiling and being proud of me, of the boy that became man at the end of the school year, who
To me success is knowing that I gave it my all in school and other hobbies outside of school. Also, another meaning is that I try the best I can and tried my hardest. Also if I don’t make a high school program, so what, it would not be the end of the world, but it also can mean to a new beginning of my journey. What is important to me? The most important to me is family, friend, and education. Family, friend, and education are everything to me, without them I have no life. What do I value? What I value is something that is important to me family, friend, and education. The reason I value friendship, family, and education because that is what you need to live, as a result these three things is the only thing to live and your life would be
Generally speaking, success isn’t just about what you accomplish in life, it’s how you accomplished it and the impact you
Your values and expectations in life. How do you measure success? Happiness? My values all stem from God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. My family, God and my career are my successes and happiness. My expectations are to be the best I can be and to always keep trying. You can do anything you put your mind to and never give up.
how you define success. For example, my version of success is a college degree, and
My extracurricular and academic activities have helped mold me into a person with character and good qualities. These qualities--respect, humility, kindness, ambition, appreciation for diversity and collaboration, and courage--have not come without valuable failures and lessons. I can continue to develop these qualities and build upon these lessons as I go forward with my university goals and the desire I have to enter the healthcare profession as a nurse. I am able to look beyond the exciting, glamorous parts of both and see that there will be lots of hard work and difficulty. I am ready to face those challenges and do my best and give my all.
The article “How to Be a Success” by Malcom Gladwell speaks about how success is something that can be achieved if you put the time and work into it, and how success is not achieved overnight but rather through long hours of constant practice. His article is targeted to more than one group of individuals. The groups of individuals that his article targets are teenage students, young adults, adults, people who want to become an expert, or want to succeed in something they have an interest in and in general society. Another article also related to the success of an individual “An A+ Student Regrets His Grades” by Afraj Gill describes how in society many schools focus more on students’ grades, rather than their learning, and how a student is
The best leadership accomplishment that demonstrates my potential to make significant contributions to the campus community and broader society is cheerleading. Cheerleading has made a huge impact on my life and has created many opportunities for me. It has paved the way for my high school career. Cheerleading provided me with opportunities to lead, volunteer, perform and show the athletic ability of our squad.
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
...th this single life that I have been given. I am going to touch as many other lives as I possibly can. The moments we spend leading others to find their own personal definitions of happiness are worth so much more than ours alone. Sometimes to see the beauty and meaning in the small things, we must rid ourselves of all the "fluff' that threatens to distract us. Time is too precious and our gifts, as leaders, too valuable to be wasted on things that do not touch our hearts.
A path that was filled with troubles and triumph, put downs and perseverance, and most importantly the ideal to never give up. In my twelve years in school I have had a lot thrown at me, from managing diabetes, bullying, stressful nights, my mother dying, and so many smaller battles along the way, but one thing remains- I am still here. I am still fighting towards my goal of becoming a teacher. I think that the reason that I want to become a teacher stems from the teachers that I had in my years in school. All of them have wonderful reviews from me, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, smart, and most importantly, willing to put the needs of their students first in order to better them as people. I would never change my experiences that I had in school, they helped to shape who I am today, and that is one amazing
I have gone to school here all nine years going from kindergarten to eighth grade. I have accomplished many things, but there are also countless things I have done wrong or wish I could change. I hope people at Emmons will remember me for the good, not the bad. I have done things not only academically at Emmons, but also as an athlete, In seventh and eighth grade the boys basketball team that I played for at Emmons took second in our conference. Considering the size of my school, only about 20 boys in my grade, this was a big accomplishment for my teammates and me. This is one of the things I hope people will remember me for. As an athlete I also participate in track. Last year, and hopefully this year, I qualified for the IESA state meet in the high jump. This was my goal throughout the entire season and at the second to last meet I jumped the qualifying height of 5 feet and 1 inch. This was, in my opinion, the greatest athletic accomplishment I made at Emmons. I say that because not only did I actually have to do it, but I had to work for it every day. The track team practiced every day in 7th grade and I high jumped at every practice. It was a great accomplishment because I had to persevere and work for almost a month to achieve my goal. Another accomplishment I made at Emmons was winning the CML competition for my grade level. The CML was a math competition given within the accelerated class. Every month there was a six question test that we would take. At the end of the year the person with the most correct answers was the winner. In sixth grade I was the one with the most correct answers. These two and many other things are what I hope people at Emmons will remember me for. I want to remembered for things I am proud of not things I am ashamed of. I want the my legacy here to be of someone who I would look up to, not of someone I would look down
While hard-work is important, it is not the only thing that matters. Living your life to the fullest is just as important. Taking chances, having fun, doing something which you would never even dream of doing; these things form who we are and who we will become in future life just as our performance in examinations and other school activities
If I were to leave a remarkable legacy, I would have definitely made a tremendous difference in people's lives. My family and teachers will be proud of all of the passing grades and good feedback from all of my teachers. However, I want to be remembered as a role model from all of my teachers and classmates. I want to be recognized as the student who was always hard working and brings sunshine into the classroom. This is a very big goal to accomplish but I will stride to the best of my ability this year. I want to leave honorable reputation

A person needs to achieve certain goals in one's life before you can call them successful. Success is to achieve goals, you have set. I have set certain goals I would like to achieve in my lifetime. Some of these goals are personal while others are professional. What is success defined in the world and how is success achieved? People move through life wanting the dream life and money. Even though success is dependent on failure, failures promote success because without struggles, there is no success and without risks something cannot be achieved. In the astronomy course, I represented the students who studied, but still did not reach satisfaction with their grade. Failures build character in view of the values people are taught Failure helps people identify problems that they normally miss.
