My Journey of Five Years
My future will always be determined by what I am doing right now. My present will also affect weather I go to the college of my choice and get the job I want. When I finish high school I will look forward to attending an accredited online program for Ashworth College. I will be entering a program that will help me achieve my goal of becoming an administrative assistant. This program will require me to start developing some academic and character habits that I will start to develope right now all the way through high school and for my whole career. To help me out financially at the age of 17 I plan to have a job as a waitress at a coffee shop. Having a job here will allow me to earn money for my college payments and graduate will less debt. Going to college and trying to figure out what it is that you want to do for the rest of your life may be challenging to many. I like to see a challenge like something that is up high in a place that seems unreachable, but if you take a ladder you can climb it all the way to the top and reach what others thought was so hard to. If I want to get to become an administrative assistant I must be on my way up the ladder right now. Some careers do not require you to go through the whole college experience but if you have a college degree or certificate you might be a better choice for your employer, and my future job is one of those. Since it is not a difficult job my college years can be reduced to only four months! Of course that is only if I concentrate completely in my studies and pass all my classes. Yet Ashworth College does not require you to take either the ACT or the SAT test and pass with a certain score in order for them to even consider you as one of their students. The ACT test is a test in which a school can see what you have achieved. It is made up of five components which are english, math, reading, science, and writing is be optional. The SAT is a test in which you are just tested on your reasoning and your verbal abilities. If I were to go to another college where AST and SAT scores did matter I could get a scholarship depending on what my score
