I love having dreams and goals because it inspires me to work harder and to be more responsible. Throughout life I have had many dreams and desires that I had to work hard to achieve. I believe that has made me a more responsible and driven person. Right now I have two big long-term dreams that I really want to achieve.My first dreams is to become a pediatric nurse. I have always wanted to be a pediatric nurse because I love to help people and try to make them feel better. I wanted to work with kids because I love kids and I get along with them great. This dream developed when I was a kid because every time I went to the doctors the nurses were always so friendly and caring that it made me less anxious about what was going to happen during that appointment. Whenever you look in Florida, you will see tall palm trees and dark blue water from the ocean. I know that if I want this dream to come true that I have to put hard work into my education. I have to make sure I get a good score on the act and sat. I plan on taking both of them this and I have already started studying for them. I, also, know that I need to get a good gpa because that is something very important that colleges look at. Another thing I will have to do to make sure my goal is achieve is to go college visiting in Florida to find which colleges are the best choice and which one will give me the best education. I want to graduate from a great college because it will give me the best shot of getting a job in a job in a top level hospital. Another dream of mine is to travel the world. I have never been out of the country and I always wanted to be able to experience new cultures and ideas. My friends have been able to travel to many cool places like Mexico, Poland, Russia, Italy , etc. They always tell me stories about how different it is from the United States and all the cool activities they get to
I want to be a neonatal nurse practitioner, the reason I want to become a neonatal nurse is because I have a real soft spot for baby. To be a neonatal nurse you have to give special attention to all type of babies. You have to focuses on taking care of ill or newborn infants. You don’t just have to work with infants you will have to work with the family members. I will be able to get close to family member and inform them how the infant is doing and is wrong with the baby.
There are few jobs in today’s world that are essential to our society and being a nurse is one of them. Diane Marks Nurse Clinician of Pediatric Allergy at the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg Manitoba granted me the privilege of sitting down to discuss her career . Through this interview I was able to gain perspective on how being a pediatric nurse encompasses more than what is written in the job description. It is more than just needles and antibiotics, but many times it means being a mother, a sister, a friend, a councillor, and many other roles in the patient’s life.
Kids aren’t like adults, their bodies are growing and changing constantly and require specific knowledge to understand. I find it interesting learning about children’s mindsets and how their bodies are different from adults. I have always had a passion for working with kids and anytime that I have gotten an opportunity to be around kids and working with them I take it. I love being able to help kids feel better and to see them develop physically and mentally throughout time. Seeing a kids’ reaction to learning something new or feeling better is a highlight to my day which is why I chose to pursue my career in pediatrics as a pediatric nurse.
Life goals are something everyone wants to accomplish, but how will they do it? Well, I have a few life goals and a plan to make it happen. My life goals are so important to me I have already started to accomplish them. These goals will take time to accomplish, but I’m on the right track.
I am currently majoring in nursing, and plan to become a pediatric nurse. However, before starting high school I wanted to be a veterinarian. Because of this, my mom signed me up to take Health Team Relations my freshman year. At the time, Health Team Relations was a prerequisite course; I was required to take it before being able to continue with what was known as Allied Health I and Allied Health II. I was taught the basics of health care, including terminology and the different careers available in the medical field. Health Team Relations was the course that helped me begin to consider my career options.
Children get injured or sick every day, and it doesn’t matter whether the child goes to a doctor or a pediatrician they are still tended to by a pediatric nurse. A pediatric nurse has to have many qualities. They also have to take many different classes. A pediatric nurse’s pay can vary from location to location depending on where they are working. Pediatric nurses must endure many different things to make it into this particular work field, and have many different qualities.
My future goal and aspiration is to become successful in mentally, physically and more ever being educated as best possible. Now I want to become a Pediatrician and I may change my mind probably once or even twice in what I want my career to be. I am a 16 year old teenager who want the best to succeed on the long run. For now, I have set a goal to become a Pediatrician because I love helping kid and teenage to turn their heads into having a great lifestyle. I would like having a job that could impact families, communities or even the world. The word changing can be interpreted in many ways like such like adjustment, switch transformation, but they all have the same meaning.
Nursing is the prevention of illness and injury and the promotion of health. The nursing field is high in demand and has a wide range of specialties, from childcare to cancer nurses. A pediatric nurse is a type of specialty that works with children from birth through their teenage years. Being a Pediatric nurse is an admirable profession that impacts the lives of many children.
Throughout my life I have set many goals for myself. Each goal is a small step towards achieving my idea of the American Dream. Every person in America has their own idea or version of what the American Dream is. To me, an American Dream is something that we can all achieve, but it will take a lot of hard work in order for us to be successful. Certain people will dream of happiness and others might dream of wealth, but I believe the dream that I want to achieve is something more meaningful than those things. Three post-high-school goals that embody my idea of the American Dream is attending College of the Ozarks to further my education, own a well managed farm, and in the future, I would like to have a nice house and a family. Nursing involves alleviating suffering by doing a diagnosis and treatment of human response, preventing illness and injury to individuals, populations and communities. The professional growth in the provision of patient care depends on setting goals that contribute to development of the career and skill enhancement as the caregiver. Goals in the nursing profession can be short term or long term. Short term goals are those that are achievable in a short time frame and more immediate as they take one to two years. They help in reaching long term goals.
Profession of Nursing is always regards as a complex, dynamic and noble. The nursing profession requires many things such as hard work, a vast knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the noble profession. All these qualities are needed to be an effective nurse. Today, nurses are living in a world of ever changing field of medicine .The present patient statistics poses, nurses are expected to take responsibility of accomplishing the requirements. The requirement for excellent nursing skills is added as well as well-formed skills in different aspect. Because of the high demand in excellent nursing care, the IOM have declared the recommendations for the future of nursing.
In the future, I hope to pursue my career dream of becoming a pediatrician. Pediatricians can be identified individuals who specialize in giving medical care to children and adolescents between infancy to adulthood at eighteen years of age. I became inspired to become a pediatrician due to my immense love of children. Perhaps I have an innate intuition for taking care of people being that I have always felt that I excel at taking care of others. The idea of taking care of others truly makes me feel that I serve a purpose, not only to better the life of myself but the life of others. Therefore, I believe that becoming a pediatrician will help me combine the best of both worlds into a career that I adore and cherish.
Although I have many goals in life, two stick out to me the most. They stick out in every decision I make and they help me form good decisions. What I want most importantly in life is to become a pharmacist and to create a family with someone I love. I want the family most importantly because I was raised in a very tight Greek family. I want to raise my kids in that tight Greek family as well. Becoming a pharmacist is also a very important goal because I want stability in my job so that I can raise my family without major money issues. I also think it is very important for people to be healthy so that job would allow me to provide health care.

I have always wanted to become a nurse since I was a little girl, seeing both of my grandmothers working in a hospitals and always helping everyone in need.
