The dream of travelling the world is one of my many dreams as a 17 years old teen. I started travelling at the age of 8 with my school and sometimes with my family, some of the countries I travelled to are Egypt , Lebanon , Syria, Palestine, turkey, Italy, France, united kingdom, Greece but one country stood out and carved a place in my heart and mind ; Dubai, United Arab Emirates . On July 22nd, 2012 to be exact 5:30 pm, my plane landed in the Dubai international airport, I was so excited especially because it was my first trip alone. My aunt Nehad was waiting for me at the door, she welcomed me and then we got in the car, on the way to her house she started introducing Dubai to me saying: “Welcome to Dubai,

Last but not least, although the fun times in Dubai did not last forever as I have imagined but the uniqueness of this city is so special that it brought people from all around the world not only to tour it but also to film movies, like mission “impossible 3’ by tom cruise, “sex in the city 2 ” and a lot more, Dubai the new destination for the rich and famous people from all around the world but also , if you get lucky you can get a good price and visit the most incredible country in the Gulf
As my family and I walked into the plane, we were excited. The plane ride to jamaica stopped in L.A. and, after that, it went to jamaica. When we arrived in Jamaica it was really hot, but it was wet. I immediately took off my sweater I was wearing on the plane. We took a bus to our hotel. Then we started swimming in the water park. Every night there was a show in the main stage. The next day we woke up early to go to chukka. It was awesome. We saw a great house, rode on horses, and did a challenge course. After we came back from Chukka, we went to the water park and swimming pool at the hotel. Then we ate at fresh, which we went most of the time. The next day we woke up earlier to go to the dolphin cove. The bus was an hour late, but the wait
new people as well as see new cultures. It has always been a dream of mine to travel
Dubai – the land of dreams, lavishness and vivacity, has always beguiled tourists, travelers, vacationers and backpackers from across the world. From the majestic high-rises like Burj Khalifa to vacant desolation, from the scorching desert to the snow skating rink, Dubai has always offered a wide range of opportunities for someone looking. However, travelling around Dubai and witnessing its rich heritage takes more than paying to the local travel agent. Further, not doing enough research will only disappoint your for the price you pay.
However, the nightmare wasn’t over. They got us on the plane at about 2a.m because the plane wasn’t ready. I couldn’t get on the plane because I kept buzzing when I passed the medal detectors, so that took another 20 minutes. Then we are on the plane and the plane isn’t moving, and we are waiting and waiting and no explanation. After a while the plane begins to move. It when around the run way and then they tell us we must get of the plane. It needed more service repairs. At this point I’m like give me my money back, and in return they call the cops because we were making to much noise. They fix the problem around 5:30a.m and we are off again. Keep in mind we haven’t eaten and no food was given. I didn’t even get water. I thought this was a sign of god and my time had come for me to die, but I made it there in one piece.
I love traveling as well, so if I ever have a chance, I would choose to go around the world and help people, especially people in Africa, and Vietnam. In 2010 I participated the Red Cross to help seniors living in remote area of Western Vietnam. They lived in poor conditions, eating malnutritioned food without noticing that they were poisonous. I met a little boy there who couldn’t read or write because he was suffering from dyslexia disease, or an old man who cried after he’s given a pair of glasses after years livi...
We got off from plane and headed towards the exit. My cousins and my family case worker were already their waiting for us. I was so shocked and the same time I was so happy to meet with my cousins after 6 years. This days too when I went to airport reminds me of that day. We collect bags and headed towards my cousin’s house, I was so hungry and I asked my cousin “what kind of food you made” she knew that we love Nepali cosine so she had made Nepali cosine. We ate food after that I went upstairs to rest. I was so excited and little bit scared to be here and start my new life in USA because I knew that USA life is different than Nepalese life style, however that day was my best day ever in my life. I felt like my dream came true. I had a lot of things going through my mind. Like what am I going to do, what is best for me things like
It felt no different to any other day. It was the day my family and I were moving to the United States of America. After countless weeks of packing, this day felt rather calm. This was going to be our second time moving to a different country. Our first time moving was from Ethiopia to Uganda, my father had found a job there, so we followed him. I remember how excited I was to be moving since I was dissatisfied with the school I was attending in Ethiopia. Once we moved to Uganda, life became brighter. I made friends within the first week of school and the environment we were living in was simply mesmerizing. Since our first time moving was so successful, I had very high hopes for our second one. How naïve I had been.
It was time for us to leave and board the plane to America. I was very excited to get to America, I was also anxious to see my Dad who I haven’t seen in months. The flight was long, I can remember in the air was my first time feeling turbulence, whoa let me tell you it was a scary one it felt like the plane was about to crash. I was anxious for the plane to land. When we arrived we exited out the plane and head out to the train inside the airport in order to go to U.S. customs and border protection, to get our documents sorted out, so that we could enter the country.
When I become older and earn a significant amount of more money, I want to go on plenty of road trips with friends and family. Traveling the world is something I have always wanted to do ever since I can remember. Although I may seem to be a closed type of person, I enjoy most things that force me to get out of my comfort zone and traveling is what does that for me. Many people have already had the opportunity to travel places around the world that they have always wanted to visit. One day I will be able to go on these adventures around the world with my family and friends and have great stories to tell. When some people want to travel, they are unsure as to what exact
We finally got on the plane and started flying to the Bahamas. I was so tired that I slept on the plane. I was so
After I finished eating I saw an amazing sight I’ll never forget. A casual Wednesday morning I woke up thinking I was going to school, but their was a box downstairs and I said to my mom “Why is their a box on the couch?” Little did I know my parents surprised me and said “We are going to DisneyWorld.” I was really excited! A few hours passed and we were boarding the plane. I was a little scared, but when we took off I realized it wasn't that bad.

The flight to London felt like it took forever, we were all so tired and just wanted to take a shower and go to bed, but we had to get off that plane and get on another going to Scotland. When we finally landed in Scotland, I couldn’t believe I was actually in a foreign country, I was so excited. The first thing I did when we landed in Scotland was to look through the window, of course what I saw were other airplanes and men running around getting luggage and showing planes to the terminal. After we got all of our luggage and the rental car, we walked outside, as I looked around, I could see so much green in the distance; so many different colors of green. I had never seen so much beauty in one place.
It was close to four o’clock in the morning and we were tired. We met up with my dad at the airport and grab us a taxi. As we leave, we drive by a desert that was completely surrounded with sand. Passing through we made it into the city, looking at the flashing lights and buildings that stood tall. It was too early to go out and explore, we needed our rest. As we walk into our hotel, it was like walking into an expensive apartment. With its very own kitchen, washer and dryer, and a patio to top it all
There is nothing quite like traveling, going someplace new and finding out more about the world and yourself. Anyone can become a traveler it just takes a little bit of faith and courage. Traveling across the world or even across the country is a learning experience. When you are a traveler you see how people live and how different cultures work. It is the best educational experience you could give yourself. You see how the world works in a way no one can teach you. Seeing different cultures and people help build the person you want to be. If you are a traveler the world influences you, because when traveling, you see the good and the bad, and you learn from the right and the wrong. I am very lucky that I am able to be a traveler and see this
