The music career I choose is music producer because I like producing music and producing music is fun when you get used to it. A music producer writes, arranges, and records songs. When they are shaping the music of another person’s album or created beat. Some music producer find themselves doing double or triple work as a studio owner and a sound engineer. Music producers work with recording artist, recording engineer’s session singers, and musicians among others. They have a lot of ear and mental breaks because the work 10-12 hours a day music producers are for ever on their phones or laptops because some want a producer some want the producer to make a beat. A music producer writes, arranges, producers and records songs for other artists or for their own project. Working as a producer can be time consulting with the late hours the long days in the studio. Some music producers work from 6am-10pm every day in the studio. Being a music producer can be hard work because sometimes your clients is busy or doing something stupid like shopping or skiing or surfing so you are the who has to take the blame and face the consequences for not getting the single or album done when it is due to be released. When recording music you must always listen to what the client wants and go with it because it is his or her song so you go with whatever decision they make you have to go with it. Up to 80% music producers are fired over the months and the rest of the 20% fight for their jobs so they can get paid. Most producers get paid according to how the song and the artist is. If the artist is willing to go the far mile then he / she and the producer are going to end up being the biggest in the city or the biggest in the world because he / she is committed to doing the job. Not only the artist get a lot of money but the producer gets tones of money and tones of credit around and then you end up earning more than your average salary.
Working in the recording industry takes a lot of time, patience, and money. Starting with making records, to 8 tracks, to 4 track tapes, and now to CD’s, there have been many changes in bettering the production. Rock and roll, written as rock ‘n’ roll, music was fully born in the 1950’s and formed from electric blues and gospel music. Rock and roll is characterized by electric guitars, a strong rhythm and youth-orientated music. This music became popular because of the children of the decade. Parents called this type of music “noise.” While parents were listening to calm music, their children were listening to rock n roll.

Music is one of the most popular cultural aspects that we have adopted from ancient societies throughout history. Some forms of music date back to ancient civilizations of Egypt, China, India, Greece and Rome. Music can be used during every day activities such as working out, relaxation, for entertainment and also therapeutic uses. Many types of music therapy have been seen all over the world and also in different time periods. Music Therapy was used in the 20th century for World War One and World War Two veterans. Local musicians were hired to play in the local hospitals where veterans that were suffering both physically, emotionally and mentally were making progress towards recovery. Music therapy is still very common today. It gives an opportunity for a musical therapist to work with people of all different ages and varying disabilities. In order to become a musical therapist, a person must have some special qualities. Some of these include basic understanding of music, the willingness to help people, patience, creativity, empathetic and supportive. According to the Cancer Association society “ Music therapy may be used to encourage emotional expression, promote social interaction, relieve symptoms, and for other purposes.”
Theatre has heavily evolved over the past 100 years, particularly Musical Theatre- a subgenre of theatre in which the storyline is conveyed relying on songs and lyrics rather than dialogue. From its origination in Athens, musical theatre has spread across the world and is a popular form of entertainment today. Being a record producer is dedicating career to get into. Even though the career has a lot of stuff to learn it helps expand your mind. This is a great opportunity to get into because producers create new types of music and meet new or highly known famous musicians. Even though you have to learn new instruments it’s a great way to create artistic music.

The job description of a music producer is a long list of responsibilities and obligations that prove to be well worth it when the paycheck arrives. If one desired to pursue this career field, he or she would have to be extremely committed and resourceful. The journey to become a successful producer can be long and competitive, but it has been and can be done time and time again by anyone willing to put in the effort. To achieve this goal, it is essential to understand the education level required, the career path one must take, any special skills that might be beneficial to the job, the earning potential one might expect from this career, the job outlook, and the work environment surrounding this occupation.

What if the high just isn’t there the next time? What if a tolerance starts to build up? That’s when many begin to add narcotics into the experience, to rebirth that feeling. Music has been a vital part of culture, and drugs have always been involved in and around both music and culture, effecting the music and the youth listening to it.
Music has been many different things to people, an escape, a revolution, an experience, a feeling, a message, a memory, a single moment, peace, class, etc. Music has played a large role in the lives of many. The story of music and it’s evolution is beautiful, from ancient melodies being plucked on a harp, to the british invasion and the popular revolution. Music has changed, and it has effected so much. In the recent decades popular music has manipulated humanity into acting inappropriately.
The process of choosing a career is, many times, a difficult decision. Many factors must be taken into account while deciding a career. Such factors usually include pay, work environment, and most importantly, what the person is interested in. Becoming a musician would be a highly fulfilling career for the reasons of broadening one’s musical abilities, people enjoying something that an individual made, and traveling the country, possibly even the world, for musical opportunities such as teaching, performing, and writing.
Are extra-curricular and co-curricular activities needed in a school environment? Do they serve any purpose in the learning spectrum of school? Many individuals believe school is a place strictly for learning, nothing more. Yet, they have an abundance of different sports and activities offered. These activities are financed by public schools and are offered as something else to engage in. Although others do not agree, learning is affected by extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, such as music, in a positive way.
