Music production is more than just a musical program; it is a duty that requires personal experience with music and artistic direction. Observing producers in the studio, their creativeness comes out in different ways even depending o their task. The artisanship of music production has come a long way ever since the heavily involved recording equipment has been massively changing. Every artwork has countless of individual people who have changed the way the art may be applied to the field, leaving behind their legacy to influence all aspects of music. Music producers are always overlooked when it comes to working with musicians or bands, but what people do not know is that they are the backbone of the production but are unseen to the public. There are several of paths on becoming a producer, like being self-taught or going to a vocational school. If you plan to advance as a producer, it will be a rough experience trying to ascend to a higher position. A music producer is the main person that manages the whole album on a record, and is responsible for helping the artist complete his work.
The music profession could date back to the time where music recording was difficult process. Music production started to rise as a profession as soon as the development or recording equipment was more serviceable. "Although recorded music goes back as far as 1857, it wasn't a business until around the 1900" (Owsinski 3). The technology back then wasn't as advanced as what we have today. When high-end recordable equipment was first released, it was a job only special trainees could operate. Soon, as the job became more common within music, it started to give birth to a new fo...

Ultimately, music producers attempt to accomplish the overall work of the whole recording session. They are the coach and also the musician/artist in their own way. Every music producer is different, but most can produce and compose tracks entirely by themselves. They are commonly found working and practicing inside their record studio. As a music producer you do not only have to work for a band, musician, or artist, you can also work for television, movies, and advertisements. There is no education requirement but, it would be recommended for the average person who attempts to jump into the music profession. The job growth rate of music producers is unquestionably slow, but the need for them will undeniably be for sure. Without the involvement of music producers and the impact they have made in the music world, music would not be produced the same.
A musical is typically created as a result of several different professionals such as lyricists, choreographers, playwrights, and composers working together, since the different aspects of a single production involve many different elements and areas of expertise (Cohen 246).

A crew includes a screenwriter, whose job it is to provide the written blueprint version of the entire film. This is basically the starting point for any movie. Next there is the producer. There are many types of producers; executive producers, co-producers, assistant producers and line producers. They all do very different things. Some are the producers are responsible for raising the funds for the movie while others are responsible for the production that goes on during the filming of the movie and still other producers are in charge of what physically goes on the set. Then it is time for the director. The director is in charge of the actors. The director works with the actors to visually bring to life what was written on the screenplay (Fortunato, Who Does What on a Film). Now the idea needs to come together. The idea of writing, “what you know” is not always true and writing, “what you come to know” is in fact a more accurate way to write. Other good ways to formulate ideas are to use existing plays, novels, short stories, life stories, new articles, or even past TV shows and film. When using existing work a person needs to make sure that one secures the copyrights before starting write. Securing the copyrights does not mean one is finished yet. Now a person needs...
What is music? Where did it come from? According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, music is defined as the science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity (Music). There are many types of genres of music. Examples include classical, rock, rap, techno, metal, acoustic, pop and many others. Music is one of the most popular cultural aspects that we have adopted from ancient societies throughout history. Some forms of music date back to ancient civilizations of Egypt, China, India, Greece and Rome. Music can be used during every day activities such as working out, relaxation, for entertainment and also therapeutic uses. Many types of music therapy have been seen all over the world and also in different time periods. Music Therapy was used in the 20th century for World War One and World War Two veterans. Local musicians were hired to play in the local hospitals where veterans that were suffering both physically, emotionally and mentally were making progress towards recovery. Music therapy is still very common today. It gives an opportunity for a musical therapist to work with people of all different ages and varying disabilities. In order to become a musical therapist, a person must have some special qualities. Some of these include basic understanding of music, the willingness to help people, patience, creativity, empathetic and supportive. According to the Cancer Association society “ Music therapy may be used to encourage emotional expression, promote social interaction, relieve symptoms, and for other purposes.”
Theatre has heavily evolved over the past 100 years, particularly Musical Theatre- a subgenre of theatre in which the storyline is conveyed relying on songs and lyrics rather than dialogue. From its origination in Athens, musical theatre has spread across the world and is a popular form of entertainment today. This essay will discuss the evolution and change of musical theatre from 1980-2016, primarily focusing on Broadway (New York) and the West End (London). It will consider in depth, the time periods of: The 1980s: “Brit Hits”- the influence of European mega musicals, the 1990s: “The downfall of musicals”- what failed and what redeemed, and the 2000s/2010s: “The Resurgence of musicals”- including the rise of pop and movie musicals. In the studio, the recording engineer has to prepare for the recording sessions by setting up the necessary equipment, run the equipment during the session, and break down afterwards. While this sounds all too simple, one must remember that the engineer must work with the producer and the act to achieve the sound they're looking for, as well as troubleshoot any technical problems. This is not always a smooth process. The engineer must employ both creative and technical skills, applying their knowledge and experience to helping create music in collaboration with the artist and producer.
All these responsibilities require ability in music, some experience , combined with a thorough knowledge of music and music theory. It also requires music and sound production in a recording studio along with a key sense of listening. Some music producers work for record labels producing for recording artists under a contract which has very exact wantings for that artist. And while many are full-time employees, others are self-employed. Which means they must also have experience in running a business.
Being a record producer is dedicating career to get into. Even though the career has a lot of stuff to learn it helps expand your mind. This is a great opportunity to get into because producers create new types of music and meet new or highly known famous musicians. Even though you have to learn new instruments it’s a great way to create artistic music.

Music Business Music Business Exam Number One Question 1 - What is The music publishing industry at a glance would seem to be those who print sheet music, method books, lead sheets, and all of the texts or notated music that musicians (and those aspiring to be musicians) use. Years ago, this was what most music publishers did, but as the industry has evolved, the process has become much more complex. Music is not just ink and paper, intellectual material and property to the individual who writes it. Therefore, the song does not become "a song" when it is written down. This is not an easy concept to grasp because the song itself has no physical makeup.
