A few months ago, I was involved in my first car accident. I think it's pretty remarkable that this was my first accident, considering that I've been driving for almost thirty years. The accident itself was pretty traumatic. I was at a complete stop behind two cars that were turning left, when a large van traveling at about thirty-five mph rear-ended my car. I was fortunate to escape with only some large bruises and a very sore knee; however, the car didn't fare quite as well. What was more amazing than the accident itself were the actions of the young man who ran into my car. Instead of taking responsibility for his actions, he lied to the police and to his insurance company about the events that took place. His version was that he was driving behind me when I ran into the car in front of me, then bounced back into his van. Perhaps if he'd had more time he might have been able to concoct a more credible story, one that actually made sense. In the end, the police and his insurance company saw through his lies and everything was taken care of. But in the meantime, my car was towed away and I was left with no car. What's amazing to me is that he never got out of his van to see if anyone was injured, and he never apologized for smashing two cars and causing me the inconvenience of being without a car for five weeks while the damage was repaired.
What happens when someone gets in a car accident who would take responsibility for the accident and would it be the manufacture or would it be the person behind the wheel. The manufacture would not be responsible for the accident so the person behind the wheel would be responsible for it. It would be a lot of new laws and it would be confusing to understand for some people.

You played a large role in this accident. Your actions are partly responsible for the trauma that both Lora and Amber are dealing with. Trauma that I now have to deal with. You were NOT an innocent bystander.

Many Americans have suffered from the same pain you are experiencing. You experience a car accident that is not your fault, and now you have to cipher through the mess and look for compensation. Sometimes the process is very simple, and everything goes according to plan, but life could also be a little unfair so you might find yourself in a situation where you are fighting for what is due to you. There are many reasons why someone would be undercompensated for their claims after a car accident, and unfortunately earning the right compensation is a slow, drawn out process. If you are in a situation where you have been in a car accident and have had major damage to your vehicle or you were injured, but car insurance companies will not provide you with enough money to compensate you for your pain, or the other driver has no insurance of his/her own; you should consider putting the effort to sue the other party involved.
After only two months of receiving my driver’s license, what should have been a light-hearted day at the ocean turned into a terrifying experience where my actions sent three people, one of which was an infant, to the hospital. This had been the pivotal point in what was the roller coaster of a ride that started 2 years ago. This accident was the conclusion of my transition to my current state of maturity from a child to a young adult; I was responsible for 4 other people’s lives, all much more important for my own simply because it was my fault. This was a lesson I didn’t want to learn about responsibility, defining my maturity, being able to understand how delicate each situation is and that to be successful in my life I need to take responsibility for my actions.
