If I could choose any job in the world I would choose to be a marine biologist. I have always been interested with animals and I adore the ocean. Going into marine biology would be a perfect profession for me for many reasons. I have also set appropriate goals for myself based on my career choice. These goals will surely see through my many years of school in preparation for my future profession. Also, I have always done very well in science and I think this career would be a great fit for me.
As far as my goals go I have set three short term goals, three mid term goals and three long term goals. One short term goal I have established in order to prepare for my future is to become more familiar about marine biology through reading articles

A top end marine biologist can earn anything around sixty dollars an hour. Although a marine biologist that may be just starting out ears only about nineteen dollars an hour. Even though that is not as much as a grade A marine biologist make it surely better than nothing. With a job like this it would be easy to support yourself and your family.
I think this job would be perfect for me because it involves the study of ocean wildlife. I have always enjoyed being in the water and admiring not only the pretty ocean views but also what lies beneath the water's surface . If I were to take this career path I could study the behavior of the sea creatures and learn how they communicate, react to things and just observe their overall mannerisms.
Most of time I learn, problem solve, and think in ways the most people might not consider and and that is why this job would be ideal for me. Being a marine biologist not only takes education to be successful but it also takes thinking outside the box. When you're in the field of marine science you might have to solve problems think differently. For example, a fish could react differently then all the other fish when a rock hits the sea floor. You would then have to identify the fish figure out why that certain why it acted differently than all the other fish
...ms within. I grew up on the lake, so water will and has always been a part of my life. I go to the beach almost every year, so I am frequently involved with the ocean life as well. My dad is a fisherman; he has been to many places and shown me many unique animals he has caught. I feel that it would be the most interesting job to have because there is a huge ocean to explore. Another awesome part of the job would be the idea of always learning new things about the fish. It would never turn into that job that has the same old routine because discoveries are still being made. The only down side to being a marine biologist is constantly smelling like a fish and dealing with the rather large fish that could endanger my life. But every job is going to have a down side, if these two are the only downsides to having this job, then I would have no problem conquering my fear.
... forensic scientist work really weird hours. Some work until the case is closed. That could be a very long time. You get good pay for it. And you learn somthing new every day. It would definitely be something that i would do.
The career I want to pursue when I go to college is in marine science. This career sparks my interests and fits my character style. As a child, I was intrigued by stories that took place in the ocean or along the beach. Sea creatures and indigenous areas always left me wanting to learn more. Even though natural disasters were devastating, they caught my attention too. The college I selected is the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) I found it to be an affordable college choice and have the most academic advantages in my career choice to become a Marine Biologist. Although I have not participated in many marine aquatic activities, I still chose to research the career path to becoming a Marine Biologist.
I would like to be a Forensic Science Technician, simply because I find this kind of stuff interesting. A Forensic Science Technician does many things. Four things they do are run ballistics tests on guns to find the one used in a bank robbery; collect evidence from a crime scene to help understand the chain of events; match DNA samples to reunite a long lost child to his/her family; and solve a crime by matching fingerprints at the crime scene to a suspect. One of the top reasons I would join this career is because I want to be able to solve a crime if someone needs help. The second top reason I would join this career is because I watched CSI all the time before I got too busy with school, but I still watch it when I can. I think I would like this job because I always found it interesting to watch CSI and figure out how they solved the case. I also like to guess on who done what and why did they do it.
I have always wondered what my future career would be.I experienced many things during my days in school and at home.My experiences helped me realize that I should become an animal caretaker.Becoming an animal caretaker would mean that I could spend my time working and interacting with animals.I would need to be able to care for living creatures, have the right education, and withstand the disadvantages.
I would like this job because I could be In a office writing, conducting census projects, research studies, and conducting more experiments. But I could also go in to field work. Travel around the world to study these animals and there eco systems. The way some animals eat, the way they communicate, the way they feed. I could learn all these things while being in the field as an animal biologist. Even after being in the office and the field, I could still work in a zoo and have one on one with some animals.
Goals give you something to measure yourself against and give you direction. Currently, my main goal is to graduate from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree of science in engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. My anticipated time to graduation is five years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Beyond getting my bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University, I would like to go to medical school and become a doctor focusing on prosthetics. In order to make my goals a reality, I will have to work diligently to remain on track throughout my schooling. Additional goals that I have set for myself are to complete homework assignments by the time they are due, reading assigned material before it is discussed in class, doing well in each of my courses this semester, successfully participating in extracurricular activities, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, getting a position as an engineer, and becoming a leader within both the engineering community and the general community. A world-class engineering student woul...
Have you ever visited a zoo and wondered what it takes to be one of those people who take care of the animals; or even wanted to play with, or train the Dolphins? Zoologists are more than just people who work with animals. If it was not for Zoologists and Marine biologists, we would have no clue about animals and their behaviors. They study how animals are in their natural habitats, how they reproduce, the kinds of food they eat and much more. Animals adapt to their homeland and when you take them out of that area it is very useful to know how they behave, so you can mock their environment especially when put into a zoo. Many people overlook the importance of biologists, not knowing what they really do.
I always attended seminars and lectures with professional DNA analysts. I found every little detail they said about their careers interesting. I also really wanted a job that would help others, and an occupation as a DNA analyst ensures that I do.
My Career The career field I chose is to be a firefighter. The reason why I want to be a firefighter is because they help people and prevent fires from spreading. I’ve always wanted to help people everywhere, because I don’t like it whenever there is an accident and some people die and lose their loved ones, people talking crap about them and just talking and pointing the cameras in their face watching them cry. I want to help people and make a difference and help protect people’s lives, and be someone people recognize when I walk by them.
...me disadvantages in becoming a marine biologist, but the advantages outweigh them. The education is extensive, but it is definitely worth it. The education and training that is needed is not as much as some occupations, though. Since only 70% of the earth's ocean has been explored. If I become a marine biologist, I may be able to explore that.
The goals I set for myself are plenty. There are goals that I am very passionate about. For one, I took a public speaking course this spring semester and loved it. In the letter I wrote that by the end of it I wanted to become someone who could take risks and be a confident individual. Slowly but surely I’m growing into that person. There was a lot of things I wrote that made me realize how upset I was with the person I used to be. I told myself not to be influenced by the media and to make choices for myself. Something that this class taught me to further accomplish. The ways in which my critical thinking has changed is by
A bonus would be having good skills in computers. I also learned that you have to be curious, creative, and clever, able to think outside the box. I have to become a go-getter, someone who doesn’t wait on anyone else to do stuff for them. I want to be a Marine Biologist but how do I become a Marine Biologist?
My ideal career would allow me to do something that interests me. I enjoy working with words and with numbers. I've also had success in the areas of technology and customer service.
Growing up and being an aquatic biologist isn't something you would ever regret. Aquatic biology is so complex and there are so many things to know and do with it. The environments in which aquatic biologist study are probably some of the most diverse and interesting environments ever. They also get to help save the environment! So make a difference in the world today and become an aquatic biologist.
