When every man gave up courage, a girl spoke up, and her name was Malala I think that a hero is someone who is selfless in their life, giving to others before themselves. Risking their own life for others. Someone who is loving, compassionate and does something for the greater good of the world . It can be a woman, a man or child, they walk the earth always on the lookout for someone else and Malala has shown that she is truly a hero in my opinion. Malala Yousafzai is a spokesperson for women’s right to education. In retaliation for her high profile campaign for education and criticism of the Taliban, she was shot in the head at close range by a Taliban gunman. She survived the gunshot wound and has become a leading spokesperson for human rights, education and women’s rights. She never gives up in what she believes in and she has inspired millions to do the same thing. She came from a place in this world were they depressed women's rights and the right to speak but that never stopped her from becoming a leader. All her life she has been speak up when she still lived in Pakistan she wrote a blog for BBC for what it is like living under the Taliban. She has given many speeches and with that comes death threats and bullets. The death threats did not scare and neither did the bullet that shot her, the Taliban thought that it was going to silence her, but nothing changed besides weakness, fear and hopelessness died and strength and power was born.
