Twenty-seven year-old Louise Cook had just gone through a bad break up. She thought that a trip to the tanning salon would help her feel better. The trips to the tanning salon gave her that golden complexion she wanted. However, they have also had a negative impact on her life. She found out that she had skin cancer when she was 10 weeks pregnant with her third child.
Four months after Louise was initially diagnosed with skin cancer, her doctor gave her even more bad news. She found out that the cancer had spread to her brain and ovaries. The doctors also stated that Louise would be lucky if she lived a few more months. She is spending the last few months of her life warning people about the dangers of tanning.
