Question 1. Describe the Process of Making a Film? What are the Four Stages, and what is Involved in each?
The filmmaking process involves four major steps that cut across the board. The process revolves around these levels that make it orderly to every individual involved in filming. The process has the following stages:
Idea and Development. Normally, finding the idea of the film whyhat one wants to create is the core of the entire filmmaking process.; an idea must be born to make a film. The idea mostly comes from inspiration, and this does not only apply to the filmmakers but also to other artists. The post-production involves the editing of all the materials that were collected while shooting, then assembling it into a smooth and consistent film. There is an insertion of the overlay of adjustments. The inserts create a cinematic experience of the movie. Then, the final sound mix is made from the voice recordings that were done and synchronized with the whole film. Color adjustments are also made, and some narratives added. Finally, the cut can now be duplicated and distributed to customers.
Question 2.Describe Three Principles of Film Form (examples from Lost in Translation)
Films Depend on Light. Light is an essential element used in coming up with motion pictures. The director of the movie Lost in Translation uses lighting in the film to clearly show the emotions, feelings, and the growth of the characters. The director shows how two characters meet and start a friendship that later grows into something greater.
Movies Always Pprovide an Illusion of Movement. When watching a movie it is usually conceived it to be a continuous flow of images. Nevertheless, in reality, we are watching a quick succession of individual still photographs.
