b. “Many people have a difficult time properly identifying a true Pit Bull, so added to the statistics are those dogs that have been misidentified. Considering these factors, the actual number of attacks attributable to American Pit Bull Terriers is considerably lower than represented,” according to the real pit bull. i. Do you think a 4 pound Pomeranian dog would hurt anybody? ii. I identify the justice of my rival’s claim, but I disagree with my rival’s 100 percent about pit bulls having the highest attacks. c. Now you can see how my rival made a mistake because they didn’t evaluate and understood the facts as clearly as they
I am doing my successful person report over Kevin Durant, because, he has played a dominant role in carrying the Thunder Basketball team and represents Oklahoma City in a great way. Kevin Durant has been a huge impact on the court and in the public as he soars for the dunk from the free-throw line to amaze the crowd, he also volunteers at various organizations and remains humble despite his numerous accolades such as, three time NBA scoring champion, rookie of the year, and helped Team USA win the gold medal at the Olympics.

It's official. Kevin Durant has agreed to sign with the Golden State Warriors. Rumors were circulating a few hours prior to his decision becoming public that it was indeed his intent. He leaves the Oklahoma City Thunder in a very rough spot, but in the back of everyone's mind there was always that concern that Russell Westbrook would stay with the team when he becomes a free-agent next season.
Seeing maimed animals are not pleasant images. Those images sometimes appear across computer and television screens. The advocacy groups who place these images in the public’s view are trying to jolt people into the realization that abuse exists. For every ten seconds that goes by an animal is getting abused (“Animal… Statistics”). One statistic states that “71% of pet-owning women entering women’s shelters reported that their batterer had injured, maimed, killed or threatened family pets for revenge or to psychologically control victims; 32% reported their children had hurt or killed animals” (“Animal… Violence”). Animal cruelty comes in several forms, some of which people do not know. There is animal experimenting, animal abuse, and mistreatment of animals. and through revealing the results from research, one discovers the horrific effects of animal abuse.
Following the horrific death of four-year old Ayen Chol, new laws regarding dangerous breeds of dogs have been introduced. However they are already failing their role in shielding the public. The editorial titled “Put owners on a leash” published on May 11 2012, in the Herald Sun, contends that owners are responsible for their dogs and that stricter laws are needed regarding viscous dogs and irresponsible dog owners so that society can be protected, and safe from harm. This editorial piece targets the general public, in particular, those who read the Herald Sun and/or are dog owners or are associated with dangerous dog breeds.
When a dog bite is reported on, it is almost always a Pitbull or a Rottweiler, why? Because they are stereotyped! Those two breeds are not the only breeds that bite, but because of the stigma put on them put on by humans, they are nearly always the ones to take the fall. This stigma has spread so far that many innocent Pit Bulls and Rottweilers, along with many other breeds such as Mastiffs, Chow Chows, and German Shepherds are subject to (BSL) Breed Specific Legislation. That is a law which regulates how your dog looks. If the “doggy police” believe your dog could be a threat to society based on how they look, they have a right to put them down.
