Leon Gorman took over the business after Bean’s passing in 1967. Although he sited his grandfather as being happy with the size of the company, Gorman was ready for growth. Even with this extensive growth, Gorman remained true to the founders values of high quality products, superior customer service, and the company guarantee to replace or refund on any purchase that a customer found unsatisfactory.
In "A Small Good Thing," after Howard returns home, the baker keeps on calling him and telling him about the cake, but Howard tells him "I don't know anything about a cake, Jesus what are you talking about?" The theme here is the lack of communication between Howard and Ann. Ann never tells Howard about the cake she ordered before Scott's accident.

As I walked away from Muffin day, I caught a glimpse through the window of my seven-year-old daughter’s chocolate colored ponytail bouncing in the air. She turns eight this month, and that could be the last bounce on her Daddy’s knee. Beloved family traditions sometimes don’t start out as beloved. It took me five years to fall in love with muffin day. As much as I’d love to join them every week, a mother knows when to step back. It’s their time. In a crazy busy life, I don’t stop enough to gaze in amazement at my husband. I did today. Muffin day is a gift he created for all of us. I pray that one day, they’ll be sitting right there on the Friday before their weddings.

There are cakes all over the world that symbolize different events such as birthday parties, special events, or if you are like me where every day is national cake day. Cake can mean much more than that though. You can use cake to symbolize your life is a way you never thought about for example; comparing a cake to making the perfect relationship with someone. It may seem crazy, but just here me out. There are many types of cake in the world that have many different flavors, styles, layers, and recipes for delicious cakes, but one thing that’s common about all cakes is that they can feel like trying to make the perfect relationship by starting with a great recipe, making the cake , and then baking it into the oven.
No baker had an idea of how to make the flowers and didn’t want to take a chance either. Camila had gone to see my grandmother as a last resort and asked her if she could make a cake like the one in the picture. My grandmother excitedly told her that she knew exactly what she wanted and that she’d make the most beautiful cake for her.
The cakes are the food products which is loved by people of all ages. They are the center of the food of any event. Requests are always submitted prior to the holiday and one particular item that is continuously selected is my mom’s strawberry pretzel salad. Guaranteed to be the first dish consumed, the sweet and salty mixture is without a doubt an all-time favorite within my family. An additional beloved dessert is sweet, satisfying, and delicious apple pie pulled straight out of the oven still steaming with heat. As I am generally the one preparing this dish, nothing creates a more at home aroma then the smell of the fresh-cut apples tossed in flavorful spices and baked with a buttery, flaky crust baking in the oven. I believe dessert is the final step to any impeccable
