Dear Kaleb, I am really enjoying Colombia. When I landed in Bogota and the first thing I saw was mountains and valleys everywhere. In some of the valleys, there were rivers running through them. On my way down the mountain, I say the Magdalena River. After I got down the mountain, I started to head for Cali. About halfway to Cali, I ran into some people who were playing futbol,or as we call it, soccer. It was a great day to play. The sun was shining and the temperature was 82 degrees. I scored a hat trick and I had 10 saves. When I got to Cali, I bought some bananas, pizza, and lemonade. I rented a room for the night. I went inside and ate my food. Then I watched TV until 11:00. The next morning, I traveled to Cartagena to visit the Spanish

Fighting to gain their independence from Spain, and enduring a civil war .The period of corrupt government and the cartel trying to keep a strong hold over Colombia. The country of cocaine and kidnappings is the best uncharted adventure haven in South America. If you ever get a chance to visit the beautiful country of Colombia do so it would be a great experience.
Over the years, soccer has changed me as a person. I love thinking back at the great memories I had playing soccer. I plan to never stop playing soccer. Hopefully, I will play on the club team at Shippensburg and never give it up. This was one of my most memorable moments in my life playing soccer. Through soccer I made friends, learned how to be a team player and helped me bring my family closer together. If it wasn’t for soccer I wouldn’t be who I am today and I am very grateful for this.

People inhabiting the Aleutian Islands, other Islands in Bering Sea, and parts of western Alaska were called Aleuts. Many Aleut men departed their homes for lands beyond the horizon. They began their journey on June 1, 1775, they all got on the St. Paul and returned to Siberia. Two Aleut men wanted to travel home instead of going to the Russia cities, but their determination to get to the land was at high. They traveled for months across mountains, through forests, and across icy fields. A treaty in 1727 ensured that trade go through Kyakhta or Tsurkhaitu first. The Bixby Letter, is a piece of forgery with quite a twist to it. Supposedly written by Honest Abe himself, the letter was quickly disposed by the recipient out of hatred for the President and the Union. The author of the letter, however has been in questioning for many years. Was it Lincoln who wrote it or was it someone else and why would Lydia Bixby lie that all of her sons had died in the war when only two did?
My country is Honduras. Some people don't even know this country. Some people ask me where is Honduras, but the things I say is that "Honduras is wonderful places, even though they're bad people, or there no justice."I know that place could be wonderful if there is justice. In my life, I have lived in Honduras for 7 years, but I still remember a lot of things. Like in Honduras has wonderful beaches and landmarks. One of the wonderful things is the food. In Honduras, there is baleadas, tajadas, sopa de pescado, etc. One of the foods I like is the tajadas, they come from the platano macho. My mom is an expert in making tajadas. Whenever she told me "Hija quieres comer tajadas en la tarde (Daughter do you want to eat tajadas for dinner)",

The author of this story, Ernest Hemingway, was indirectly involved in war efforts in WW1. He was an ambulance driver for the American Red Cross in Italy, and he was hurt during duty. Later, he was sent to the hospital, where he became attracted to his nurse. When he was well enough to go back home, he wanted to marry her, but she refused him. (Henningfield 259). This may have sent him into a downwards spiraling depression that lead him to feel similar to Harold Krebs, the main character of our story, who seems to be suffering after a war. Unfortunately for him, this abrupt breaking-off of relations may have harmed Hemingway mentally. (Henningfield 259). This harm likely manifested itself
...ambition, and this was all given to me by this country that took me out of my mental prison, and released my chains so that I could strive to become a successful and educated human being. However, I cannot forget my deep love for my motherland Colombia, because I still have great memories from there. It gave me my birth, my culture, my first desire to become more; plus, my first home also gave me an initial sense of love and commitment. I love Colombia, and I will go back if and when it changes, but for now I proudly will remain here in America, my second home, a home with a better roof and better opportunities. Because of America, I will do what I always wanted to do: I will graduate college and become a successful individual who can contribute to American society and eventually help people in my homeland understand how freedom enriches life. Thank you, America.
