People inhabiting the Aleutian Islands, other Islands in Bering Sea, and parts of western Alaska were called Aleuts. Many Aleut men departed their homes for lands beyond the horizon. They began their journey on June 1, 1775, they all got on the St. Paul and returned to Siberia. Two Aleut men wanted to travel home instead of going to the Russia cities, but their determination to get to the land was at high. They traveled for months across mountains, through forests, and across icy fields. A treaty in 1727 ensured that trade go through Kyakhta or Tsurkhaitu first. Kyakhta had some houses from wealthy merchants. The Russians had valuable medicinal properties. In exchange, the Russian vessels visited the archipelago to gather furs. A year later,

Eventually Kool-aid got their own mascot the cool-aid man (He often broke through walls), They also had a comic with 7 issues, along with the Atari 2600 came the “Adventures of Kool-aid Man”. This discovery was made by the Scandinavian explorer Hans Egede, 300 years ago when he went out in search of the lost Greenland colonies. Although Hans was unsuccessful at finding the lost colonies he did find the local Inuit. He recorded in his ship’s log his interaction with them. The ship’s log tells many oral stories from the Inuit people claiming that their Thule ancestors fought the Norse Vikings for their iron and ultimately killed them off. Hans Egede ship’s log also confirms that the Thule were great survivors and warriors, whilst being directly related to the modern day Inuit. Niobe Thompson concludes that the Thule odyssey ended in Greenland right when the Inuit odyssey began. Even though the Thule journey ended their traditions and ways of survival are still used in Inuit communities

In order to get the spices from the Muslims, high prices had to be paid since it was exchanged from person to person. Columbus went sailing and found an area that had inhabitants who looked like people he has never seen before which he assumed were Indians. Columbus saw they had foods he never had before and he started trading with them. He brought over foods such as the Irish Potato, Florida Oranges, Colombian Coffee, and French Vanilla Ice cream, for trading purposes(Document 6). All of those

It is believed the Thule people are the ancestors of the modern Inuit (Eskimo) as they are linked biologically, culturally, and linguistically. The Vikings were in contact with the Thule people, particularly in the 11th century when they explored Greenland and the edges of Canada where they referred to these people as both “Thule” and “Skræling.” During the occurrence of the “Little Ice Age” in 1650 - 1850 AD, the changed climate caused the Thule communities to migrate and scatter in which they later became known as th...
