I ask myself why I'm here while I stand at the opening of this cave. I know I have to go in but I just stand here in… Fear? Is this feeling fear? I don’t know. I feel a hand on my shoulder realizing I’m not alone in this. My name James, James the Imp. My friend is Leo the Frog. Leo tracked down the the wish giver in a forest called The Blood Forest in Germany. “You ready?” Leo said in a soft voice. I just simply noded and took the first step in. It was dark at first. We just kept walking forward trying to find light or anything. Leo was grabbing on my shoulder tightly to the point it kinda hurt. After a good time of walking forward we saw a light. The light blinded us when we walked into a open area. Our eyes adjusted to light and we saw a …show more content…
I slowly moved closer and closer, lifting my hand up. I poked it and then it spoke. ¨ow¨ The light said in a German accent. ¨it speaks” leo remarked. ¨Of course I speak” it snapped. The light transformed into a very large fairy. ¨My name is Helga and I guard the first trail to the wish giver¨ saying with pride in her voice. ¨To get past me you must solve a riddle¨ she added. ¨ok what's the riddle” asking with a nervous voice ¨oh, don´t worry. What has 13 hearts but no organs?¨ Ironically my heart sank because I have no idea. I froze up standing there thinking you could almost see the smoke come out of my ears because I didn´t know. ¨A deck of cards¨ Leo said when he walked forwards next to me. She was clearly in shock.
“How did you know” she said shock in her voice. “I play blackjack once in awhile” Leo remarked with a smirk on his face. “Well, I’ll be off then” she snapped. She went back to a light form flow off. The room was still light from crystals on the walls and ceiling. “Great what now?” I said with some attitude in my voice. “We’ll wait I guess.” he

I started to feel something on my neck. “But that's no fun so i won’t, back off ken” she said “K-ken?” i asked because that through me off. “Ken is my ghost child I killed then turned him into a ghost” she replied “anyways on the the challenge.”
It got my mind ready for anything. “The challenge is who are you. The true you Ken the imp or Ken smith who was human but a witch turned you into an imp” My eye went wide. “How did yo-” she cut me off. “The next words should be the anwser.” I thought for 15 mins and thought my mind is human but body is imp. My soul is human. “I’M KEN SMITH!” I yelled to the heavens. She looked at me. “You’re right” she said in a flat tone and emotional face. She pulled out a flat stone tablet and an unknown wording on it. “Here” she said. I grabbed it and when i looked up she was gone. Now what do I wish to be human or save Leo. I know what to do but i know i wouldn’t be human again. Then i realised I’m already human. “I want Leo to be alive again” The tablet broke and I looked over at Leo waiting… and waiting.

“Lord Zaroff,” announced Wilfred in a husky and dead tone, “the guests will be arriving later today.” Wilfred proceeded to open the curtains allowing light to pour in like a trembling river, making darkness crawl into the corners of the room, reaching for the ceiling so it wouldn’t drown.
“We just want to see it, that’s all.” “You sure he’s here?” One voice seemed to come from the room on the sofa. “Yeah, he stays here every night.” “There’s another room over there; I’m going to take a look.
“He set it up and began to show her and she found herself glowing inside.”
Before I got to him, Priscilla got me in total necklock and I was struggling to break free. My neck was popping so much I thought it was breaking. And then the next thing I know, Priscilla pushes me in her own locker like a stuffed animal. And closes it. “Help! Help!” I yell inside the locker.
In conclusion, the allegory of the cave is a depiction of people’s limited perception of the world and how it’s the duty of those who have overcome their limited views through questioning their own
Imagine the fear of losing your parents to a car crash in the middle of nowhere, you're all alone surrounded by the scary wonders of nature then all the sudden you interact with a creature you did not believe existed. The fear of what was hidden beneath the shadows of the forest could not overwhelm him forever. As soon as Pete took a step into the forest his archetypal journey had began. Pete did not want to face his fear of nature or what occurred within them. He risked consequences, but he had already stepped inside. He believed there would be a large challenge that came upon him which caused him to become frightened. Pete did not believe in himself when it came to strength and confidence. Pete wanted to give up and turn around but along came a large
To awaken the unconsciousness one must experience reality and develop new senses. The cave overall incorporates the idea of a movie theatre, where individuals watch life unfold on a screen, with no knowledge or desire to want to know who is playing the movie; only to sit in the darkness and watch the screen. Many of us take what they see in the movie as reality, not distinguishing between, story and fantasy; soon they begin to behave like the characters in the movie. For instance the twil...
Ken saw something with big green glowing eyes. He thought it was Jake and shined his flashlight on the thing with green glowing eyes. When he did, he saw a weird monster with no hair, just white shriveled skin and long fingers razor sharp, kind of like a rake. The monster turned around real quick and looked at Ken. The monster was covered in blood, and right next to the monster, laying on the ground, was his friend Jake. Jakes’ body was being devoured by this monster. Ken realized Jake was dead, and he was about to die too. So, Ken shot the monster but nothing happened to the monster. Then the monster stood up and charged Ken, and Ken was frozen in fear, and he knew he was going to die. Twenty seconds later Ken was dead, and his body was being devoured just like his friend Jake.
I reached for the knife, my fingers met the plastic case. “Dang it” I cursed. I must of dropped the knife when I tripped. I was thinking about going to look for it but my hopes were crushed when I heard something coming into the mouth of the cave. I dropped to the ground and started to snake my way behind a boulder. I armed the flare gun and took aim at what was to come around the corner. I heard a rock tumble and roll on the ground. I heard a something being dragged along the dirt. I glared at the figure, the little moonlight giving me some sight. I heard Anmol screaming. HELP, SOMEONE HELP” I watched in terror as a slumped figure rounded the corner, I could not see its face. It was black and deformed in a disgusting way. I saw it take Anmol to a corner, I heard Anmol scream one last time. A shrill, spine tingling scream. I heard something cracking and tearing. Like a green branch snapping over your knee. I was pretty sure that this thing, had just killed Anmol. Just before I was about to run, something was in my peripheral vision. Something that didn’t suit the colour way of the cave. I looked, at first I was surprised that there was a hat in here. I continued to look at it, gazing. Something about it was strange, like I’ve seen it before. A yellow sun hat with a sunflower brooch? Then it came to me, it was the mother brooch the one that went missing. I snapped out of thinking and decided it was my only chance to run. My feet meet the ground, I sprung out and went beyond my top capabilities of sprinting. I knew the thing was after me when I heard It screech. I turned around, aimed the gun behind me and pulled the trigger. For once the cave was lit up, I briefly saw everything. Anmol limp body, a pile of bones and the killer monster that chased me. It screeched at the flares brightness and dove into the shadows. I loaded another flare. I looked up, I was going to shoot the bastard again. I law its shadow and shot, it
Overwhelmed with joy he opens the curtain in his lab to show the world and nature what he has perfected. She slowly wakes up and feeling strange she begins to read the book that Aylmer had lying around. She realizes that all of Aylmer experiments had conducted had fail. Georgiana then sees her ‘’birthmark’’ had been removed. ‘’You have aimed loftily; you have done nobly.
She was lying on her back in a forest. More specifically, a clearing, where the sun warmed her body, and the soft grass served as a bed.
“Hmm” Jack hummed. Kady walked up to the door and twisted the doorknob and the door opened with a quiet creek. Jack looked over at Kady with a questioned expression. Kady just shrugged and walked in. There was no lights making it hard to navigate around the house. Jack followed behind taking out his phone and turned on his flashlight. Jack being taller lit up the path for Kady who was in front of Jack,
As the bushes and brush grew more solid I began to ponder. Will I make it through this forest tonight or will I be taken in by the thick of the mystery? Sounds from sluggish foot steps caused a vibration around me that lead me to stop in my place and listen closely. Could this forest be haunted or was I just over exaggerating? I started to get very nervous by this time. “It will be just fine,” I told myself. I am just imagining things. I continued my journey through the forest but negative thoughts were running through my l...
After just two hours, our very large friend said he’d had enough for the day and was heading for the surface. We told him we’d be out in a few more minutes and to hang around so we could discuss what we’d found. As we began our ascent toward the entrance, we became acutely aware of the complete absence of light the entrance usually emanated. When our flashlights finally found the source of the unusual darkness we were horrified; the big guy was stuck in the cave’s opening again. This time Scott’s head and shoulders were outside, so instead of being able to pull him through, we would have to try to push him out of the opening. We pushed in every combination of ways possible, and needless to say it did not work this time. The paramount problem was that the cave floods from the interior out, so we would all drown if we couldn’t get Scott unstuck, and unstuck quickly.
