Although Kady was 20 years old, she couldn’t escape her family who seemed to have a tracking device on her, so she spent most of her time in her room not bothering with them. Jack on the other hand was trying to spend some time with his family as they sat in their living room and had a nice conversation. Shikamaru like Kady, preferred to be alone after all he did live alone. He laid on his roof with one arm supporting the back of his head and his other hand flipping a lighter on and off. He didn’t do much, but think to himself. As for Paka she also lived …show more content…
Why do I still own this lighter...Oh yeah I don’t like thinking about that..Oh well it happens it’s just life, even so.. I wonder what Jack and them are doing… I wonder if Jack will ever confess to Kady that would be something to watch..How has this lighter not run out yet, the will of fire I guess… I wish it was morning so I could watch the clouds. I wish I was a cloud they don’t have to do anything. Shikamaru went on thinking about life and especially the lighter. The street lights, as always, flickered rapidly on and off. Something every human is very used to. The houses surrounding him had lit up windows and children and/or adults walking …show more content…
Jack knocked again a little bit harder this time. Still no answer. Jack walked over to the window and looked inside. Sadly it was to dark and nothing could be seen,
“Hmm” Jack hummed. Kady walked up to the door and twisted the doorknob and the door opened with a quiet creek. Jack looked over at Kady with a questioned expression. Kady just shrugged and walked in. There was no lights making it hard to navigate around the house. Jack followed behind taking out his phone and turned on his flashlight. Jack being taller lit up the path for Kady who was in front of Jack,
“Thank you Jack” Kady said. Kady walked down a small hallway and leading up to a door at the end. Kady opened it without knocking and in the room both Paka and Shikamaru were laying next to each other on Paka’s bed. Sheet were messy and pillows were sprawled around the bed. Kady raised an eyebrow and looked back at Jack behind her. Jack looked down at Kady shrugged his shoulder in confusing. Kady and Jack looked back at Paka and Shikamaru whose eyes went wide,
“This is not what it looks like…” Paka said blushing.
“Ha Kady Shikamaru is too lazy for that,” Jack said making a joke. Kady started laughing at Jack’s joke cause it was so
Little Ann opened the door to Billy and Billy walked through it with no fear. Then,

“Sure. Thank you,” Mrs. Whitmore said. She waved good-bye and shut the door, then listened. When she heard only giggles, she relaxed her shoulders, and went into the kitchen to start on the cookies. When they were finished, she brought the plate up with two glasses of milk to Lucy-Lou’s room. The girls had stopped giggling, and Sarah was sitting across from Lucy-Lou on the other side of the room.
Feeling jubilant and excited, they immersed themselves in hot water and soap and went to bed in what seemed like the most comfortable beds that they have ever laid on. Waking the next afternoon, the woman had freshly washed and ironed clothes laid out for them and a hot breakfast. The only thing that Josh had a problem doing was finding a way to thank the woman for all she had done for them. For she had restored his confidence, and gave him the encouragement that he needed to continue on his journey. Finally, the woman allowed them to write a letter to their mother, giving her comfort in knowing that they were still
While in Room, the only person that Jack ever interacted with was Ma, he is accus-tomed to her focusing entirely on him and listening to everything he says. However, outside she is preoccupied with multiple things to do and people to see, causing her to ignore Jack. When-ever Ma is interacting with police or doctors and Jack interrupts to talk to her or ask for “some” (breast milk), she will change the subject or say “later Jack” (180). All of this causes Jack and Ma’s relationship to weaken, which results in them not having each other to rely on during times when they need each other the most. When Ma overdoses on pills in a suicide attempt it is when she sends Jack to be with her brother so she can be alone in a catatonic state. It is not until after her recovery, when she is reunited with Jack and they begin living more similarly to how they lived in Room, that their bond restrengthens and they are secure again, in their new home. An-other negative relationship that affects Ma is that with her parents, and her father specifically. When Ma reunites with her father after seven years, he is extremely uncomfortable by Jack, and makes his distain known to Ma. He says that he did not want to meet him (225), and that Ma would be better off without him, as in better off if he was
Gregory heard someone giggle. He banged on the flat of his hand on the door “Let me in. Gregory. Let me in” There was nothing but silence… He waited and called again, but there was no response so he wondered away. He couldn’t demand to be let in and pleading would do no good.
I sat at the table reading the paper at the table as Póilín and Sonas ate their breakfasts. Jack had wanted to make them sleep in the garage, but I had insisted on them sleeping inside with us. Jack had laid the dog beds in the living room, but Sonas had ended up in bed with me. She slept curled into my side with her small head using my arm as a pillow. As I munched on a bowl of cereal I looked through the ads for a part time job around here. There wasn't much beside a waitress at a diner in La Push and a cashier at the grocery store. I almost didn't hear Jack as he came down the hallway.
Opening the door of the school and exiting, an odd looking man approached Jimmy. "Please, come with me Jimmy" the man said. Quite worried, Jimmy began to walk at a faster pace to get away.
The room is silent, lit by a single flickering candle, and the shine of a full moon through the window. Candy and George are sitting in the bunkhouse seemingly lost in their own thoughts. It’s been 24 hours since Lennie and Curley's wife have passed, but the tension is still heavy in the air for many folks. Georges eyes drooped low, slightly watered at the rims. Curley, sitting on the other side of the room, stared blankly at the candle with an expressionless face. George jerked quickly towards Candy.
Headlights always were intensely bright at night. They’re intimidating. It’s hard to move or react after being stunned by them. These lights were enormous circles, the first sign before the crunch of metal that followed afterwards. An impact side swept the vehicle into the snow. The spinning made the girl dizzy and she was sick upon her dress. The screams of a man and woman joined together in a terrifying harmony before they cut off
I jumped and looked around for the source of the eery sound. That’s when I saw It. The door. I hadn’t seen It before. The door wasn’t there last night. Cautiously, I turned the handle.

...d he was buying her a present. Pulling out a wrapped box, Gary handed it to Kandy. She quickly opened it to find a beautiful necklace. She put it on and hugged him. They had enough of shopping, and went to see a movie. Kandy suggested a horror movie, so she had an excuse to get close to Gary. Too bad they didn't get to see most of the movie, because they were making out. That was the best five dollars she ever spent. Holding hands, Gary walked Kandy and Ang to their car.
