Don’t fall in love, it will get you into a sticky situation. Romeo and Juliet were from feuding families and fell in love. Their love ended with death. One person could be responsible for their deaths. Friar Lawrence agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet even though it was frowned upon. Friar gave Juliet a potion to put her to sleep, but failed to get the letter to Romeo. His decisions were to blame for the two lovers death.

Lawrence's purpose was to end the family feud. It didn't end the family feud but now he is responsible for their death. Juliet was going to be forced to marry Paris, until she goes to see Friar Laurence. Friar Lawrence comes up with a plan that Juliet will take a potion and go into a deep sleep for 42 hours. “When presently through all thy veins shall run a cold and drowsy humor, for no pulse shall keep his native progress, but secrease.” This then goes wrong and Romeo finds Juliet dead. Friar Lawrence plans to send Romeo a letter about Juliet's “death”.
He sends the letter to Friar John to act as a messenger and give it to Romeo. Friar John ends up not getting the letter to Romeo because he catches the plague and goes into quarantine. “By my brotherhood, the letter was not nice but full of charge, Of dear import, and the neglecting it may do much danger.” The letter never ends up getting to Romeo. Later on Romeo finds Juliet and believes his one true love is dead.
Some people might say that Lord Capulet is responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death , because he never let them see each other. Lord Capulet also forced Juliet to marry Paris, which led to their deaths. Lord Capulet wouldnt be to blame because Romeo didn't die because of Lord Capulet.

The Friar is not to blame for the death of the lovers .Romeo and Juliet's love and decisions are upon them, Friar Laurence is not to blame for any of their actions. It is not Friar Laurence's fault due to him protecting them and giving them advice and guidance, simply Friar Laurence refers better ideas and choices rather than irrational decisions. I believe, the Friar is not to blame due to the lovers being able to make their own choices.
Responsibility for Romeo and Juliet's Deaths There is much controversy to who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, a number of things and people could be held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. But who is responsible for their deaths? Even before the play begins the grudge between the Capulet and Montague families has begun. Because of this, it becomes imminent that one thing or event will start off a sequence of incidents that will end in tragedy. The on-going feud between the Montague and Capulet families could be held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, because if their was no feud between these families then Romeo and Juliet would have been able to have a safe normal relationship in which their family would have agreed to.
I use to believe that Friar Laurence was the most responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death. I said Friar Laurence because he had the chance to bring everyone together and tell both of the families that Romeo and Juliet are in love and getting married and he will be marrying them, but instead he kept it a secret. Then, he also ended up giving Juliet potion that made her sleep, so she can fake her death and they had this whole plan but the letter didn't get to Romeo so from there is when everything went downhill. See why I thought it was Friar Laurence but then, I realized it's not his fault he believed that he was doing good for helping them, and not realizing what the outcome became. Those weren't Friar Laurence's intentions.

We as people never know who is responsible for anything. Sometimes it is never clear to say who is the cause of this, but we end up knowing what to say. People tend to blame the first person they see or the person who is closest to that person. Books these days tend to end up making the person responsible for their own demise but in this case it isn’t them.
