Keep your kids and your pets outside the kitchen. You all know that kids and pets are very playful and can be quite a distraction as you work in the kitchen. If they move around in the kitchen too much, there might be accidents. Your kids and pets will not be the only ones harmed, but also yourself. Say, you’re heating up a frying pan with oil, your kid might reach out for it, pull the pan down, burn himself and spill the hot oil not only to himself but yourself as you try to stop the pan from completely spilling out. Same goes for your pet that might jump over the cooking counter and bump the hot pan. To keep your kids away from the kitchen, keep them busy with other things in their playroom and tell them nicely that they are not allowed to step into the kitchen to keep them safe. As for your pets, bring them to your porch so that they can play outside. Sharpen your knives and learn how to handle them properly. Some people believe that too sharp knives are the number one cause of knife cuts so they tend not to sharpen their knives. However, the contrary is that dull knives cause more knife cut accidents than sharp

The definition of homemade has changed drastically throughout time. Rachel Jones recognizes this in her article “Homemade is the New Organic,” published in 2013 by The Atlantic. It is in this article that she explains how media nowadays has raised expectations on home cooking. Jones` purpose is to make readers aware of the unrecognizable and unrealistic expectations that the modern media subtly places on us when it comes to home cooking. Based on the content and the examples presented in the article, it appears as though the author`s intended audience is people who cook, or more specifically, mothers that cook. Jones begins building her credibility with past experiences and reputable sources, uses facts to back up her claims, and appeals to reader`s emotions.

Owners show their lack of knowledge by misconceiving the dog’s actions as excitement instead of an indication for aggressive tendencies. Its disheartening to witness dogs being victims of neglect by owners. All animals bestow unconditional love and deserve the same in return. Owners are like adopted parents and must make certain that the animal is disciplined at a young age so that they mature into healthy and productive adults. This can be done by set...

The rest of you girls? We’re here to take you back to the place you secretly long to be, the place where you belong: the kitchen.
Teenage workers are more likely to be untrained, and for this reason the job becomes more dangerous because the workers don’t know what they’re doing and could injure themselves by doing the wrong thing. Schlosser states, “The most common workplace injuries at fast food restaurants are slips, falls, strains, and burns” (Schlosser 83). While talking about the likelihood of injuries happening while working in a fast food restaurant, Schlosser mentions that armed robberies are more likely now in fast food restaurants than banks or even convenience stores (Schlosser 83). Although most of the robberies do not end with death, the chances of a violent crime in a fast food restaurant are high. Schlosser uses pathos because we view teenagers as innocent and as still being children, so we don’t want them to be in any danger. We feel sympathy for them because it’s unfair to have to work knowing that they are risking their safety. While the industries try to take action by “spending millions on new security measures,” the chances of a robbery happening are still
A kitchen in a home keeps a mother satisfied and busy. I can confirm that by admitting that my mother spends most of her time in a kitchen not because she is forced to, but simply because that is her passion. Even though I cause various disasters in the kitchen my mom always likes to have a partner helping her out. As well as, being a picky eater does not stop me from complementing her on the meal she makes. Most importantly, as long as passion is an active ingredient it makes anything taste better.
This statement by Druckman portrays the belief that women cook for the emotional experience while men cook for the technical experience. Research conducted by Marjorie DeVault (1991) suggests wives and mothers cook as a way to show their love to their family. Similarly, research by Cairns, Johnston, and Baumann (2010) discusses women’s emotional responses to cooking for their family and friends. Both studies highlight the emotion and nurture women feel as they cook for others. The studies’ discussion about the nurturing aspect of cooking demonstrates the traditional feminine belief that women cook in order to nurture their families as discussed by Friedan (1963) and Hochschild

What’s more, we should always be careful and share the information all the time, so that more children can grow up happily and healthy. Restaurants are kind of dangerous now, you never know if they are clean or not. That’s not the most important matter however; we have to be careful with what we are eating now. We have to pay more thoughtfulness to these foods we eat which are not healthful and always prevent buying them, when we find the restaurant is not clean enough, call the food safety department and never go again.
