It all happened May 22, 1918. I was staying with Joseph Maggio in New Orleans. They lived on Upperline and Magnolia Streets. The killer broke into the home, and then proceeded to cut the couple's throats with a straight razor. After he cut their throats he bashed their heads with an axe. After the killer left I waited a few minutes then I left because I didn’t think that either one of them had survived. I was new to New Orleans so I didn’t know where I was going so I got lost. After I found my way back to the house I noticed his brothers Jake and Andrew

Upon my arrival, I heard several people yelling at each other from outside of the door. As I entered the house, I notice a man standing next to the couch with blood on his hands and running down the side of the left temple. The man was then identified as Brandon Clodfelter. At this time I detained Brandon and as I moved to the first bedroom on the right in the hallway, I notice blood on the outside of the door. As I enter the bedroom, I see an older woman sitting on the ground with blood running down her forearm. The woman was then identified as Nicole Clodfelter, the mother of Brandon Clodfelter. Also, standing in the living room was Michael Clodfelter, the father of Brandon. At this point I called for Acadian.

A hit was put out on Taylor and Zavala by leaders of the Mexican drug cartel because they were becoming a nuisance. This hit was carried out by the same Latino gang members who had previously done a drive-by shooting of a rival gang. The officers were enticed towards their imminent deaths with a car chase which was set up by the Latino gang members. This chase led them towards an apartment complex which was rigged with many gang members and artillery to ensure that neither Taylor nor Zavala would survive. The two were ambushed but decided that gunning their way out was their best option. When the officers made it to an alley they were met by another Latino gang member who fired at Taylor and Zavala, hitting Taylor once in the chest before being shot and killed by Zavala. This book shows examples of sociology in everyday life which can be explained through theories and concepts, which centers mainly on the event surrounding their win at the Olympic Games.
The Classical Hollywood style, according to David Bordwell remains “bound by rules that set stringent limits on individual innovation; that telling a story is the basic formal concern.” Every element of the film works in the service of the narrative, which should be ideally comprehensible and unambiguous to the audience. The typical Hollywood film revolves around a protagonist, whose struggle to achieve a specific goal or resolve a conflict becomes the foundation for the story. André Bazin, in his “On the politique des auteurs,” argues that this particular system of filmmaking, despite all its limitations and constrictions, represented a productive force creating commercial art. From the Hollywood film derived transnational and transcultural works of art that evoked spectatorial identification with its characters and emotional investment into its narrative. The Philadelphia Story, directed by George Cukor in 1940, is one of the many works of mass-produced art evolving out of the studio system. The film revolves around Tracy Lord who, on the eve of her second wedding, must confront the return of her ex-husband, two newspaper reporters entering into her home, and her own hubris. The opening sequence of The Philadelphia Story represents a microcosm of the dynamic between the two protagonists Tracy Lord and C.K. Dexter Haven, played by Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant. Through the use of costume and music, the opening sequence operates as a means to aesthetically reveal narrative themes and character traits, while simultaneously setting up the disturbance that must be resolved.
