On Saturday, September 9th, 2017, at 2034 hours, I was dispatched to 3217 Grouper Rd in reference to a domestic violence incident that had just occurred.
Upon my arrival, I heard several people yelling at each other from outside of the door. As I entered the house, I notice a man standing next to the couch with blood on his hands and running down the side of the left temple. The man was then identified as Brandon Clodfelter. At this time I detained Brandon and as I moved to the first bedroom on the right in the hallway, I notice blood on the outside of the door. As I enter the bedroom, I see an older woman sitting on the ground with blood running down her forearm. The woman was then identified as Nicole Clodfelter, the mother of Brandon Clodfelter. Also, standing in the living room was Michael Clodfelter, the father of Brandon. At this point I called for Acadian.

I took pictures of all of the blood stains and collected the knife and fork as evidence.
Nicole stated that she was trying to eat some food in the kitchen when Brandon entered and started yelling at her. Brandon then grabbed the fork out of Nicole's right hand and proceeded to stab her in the left fore arm. Following Brandon stabbing her and in order for her to get him off of her, Nicole grabbed a kitchen knife and scraped Brandon's head just next to his left temple. Michael Clodfelter, who was asleep in the bedroom, then came out and started pushing Brandon to keep him away from Nicole. Nicole went and sat in the bedroom to wait for my arrival.
Michael Clodfelter stated that he was asleep in the bedroom when he was awoken to the sounds of people shouting. When he opened the bedroom door, he saw Brandon and Nicole having a physical altercation and he stepped between the two and separated them until police got on

Mark worried about his cousin considering that her son and husband had abusive tendencies and contacted the authorities. Officers checked the house twice and both times a note was on the front door of the house claiming the family was away. The police returned a third day and forced their way in. The police found the bodies of Randy and Karen Ringquist frozen in the freezer Jeremy had purchased to hide the smell of decay. Mark told the paper; “Karen and her husband didn’t get along. He was abusive to her. And then their son moved in and he was also abusive. He’s a 300 pound kid.” He continued with; “Her life was miserable and I tried to tell her to get out. I said ‘You’ve got to get out of there,’ but she said she had no money and no place to go. There’s no relatives close. I’m probably her closest
We were presented with many facts that all pointed to Mr. Washburn as the murder. In the house all of the entrances were thoroughly inspected by authorities, and they found no sign of ransacking. “[They] examined all the locking mechanisms, all the doors and windows. In [their] opinion there was no evidence of any forced entry” (P.81). When police looked for fingerprints, “They were all of the Washburn family and the maid” (P.81). There was no trace of an outside party; somebody usually in the Washburn house committed the murder. While in the living room, an officer found a drop of blood. The evidence technician was called the next night to run some tests. “He sprayed the living room carpet with luminol. It is a luminous spray, and when it comes in contact with blood it illuminates” (P.82). To both men’s surprise the whole living room was illuminating. After spraying further the men found a trail from the living room through the kitchen to the garage. In the closet the men found a wet mop, which was tested for blood and also came back positive. Somebody tried to clean his or her bloody mess, and try to save himself. The physical evidence proves the killer was somebody who was familiar to the Washburn household.
He walked very slow to the podium, while the courtroom was dead silent. Mike started questioning Nick about the day Myrtle was killed. He asked about what they were doing, where they were going, who was with who, and so on. Mike made sure to ask every question possible to create a picture in the jury’s mind to understand how it all started and how it ended. Under oath, Nick answered all the questions honestly. He told the story that he would tell to Mike when he was younger. After he was done, both lawyers had no further questions for Nick, and as he was getting down from the podium he collapsed from a heart

Brooks loaded both his firearms, placed a holster and more ammunition around his waist, and confronted Dawn, who was then in the garage with the children. Seth did just that. He couldn’t wait to get his clothes on again and even get the hell out of there, but he needed answers. The time waiting for Dr. Stevens was grueling and anxiety filled, his thoughts all over the place and gamboled. He wasn’t sure of what it was he was expecting. There would be the obvious: quit smoking, quit drinking, and start taking better care of yourself. And, there very well may be a new health issue as a result of those things. Either way, he didn’t give a damn, not really. Seth guessed he knew what he wanted. He wanted to know if he was crazy or if it was actually possible that the ghost of a little girl named Kayla had visited him.
...cy’s life on that fateful night. The man told me something along the lines of “Had we not stopped, Stacy would have lain on the ground for about 5 minutes, woken up, walked back home to Justin, and been beaten even more” Then he told me something that took me a moment to comprehend. “Stacy is pregnant and had been basically drinking herself and the baby to death. Although there is a bright side, Stacy sobered up and confessed to Justin’s abuse and now has a recovery plan and wants to start up a new life.”
