Is your child ready for the real world?
Student in 6th grade and up should be taught real life skills to be prepared for the rest of their lives. Teens should have these skills by the time they finish high school and the start of college. There is some issues that could happen in the future for the students if they do not know the makings of these subjects. Some schools or programs could help teens to success for their career. The basics of the skills will help them for high school, college, and their jobs. However some people may disagree because of some the parents may feel that their child can be taught be themselves or someone they know.

Students should know how to have good time management and personal communication skills for when they a job interview. Or a job that has appointments or talking one on one. Basic financial management, loan and credit to not to worry about not knowing and get unstable with bills. Other skills is basics of cooking, survival skills and relationships counselling. By knowing these things the teens can know what career they what to do.
The schools should provide classes of these activities. By the time students graduate from college some of them don't have a job or plan. The younger they are the more they have higher percentage of unemployment. It can also affect long term salary or the student can use home e.c in high school. The school should at least have two to three classes of the activities. Since teens don't know the skills the unemployment rates have risen a lot over the years.

Or parents may feel they should teach what bests for the child instead of a stranger and tell teens the right thing from their experience. Some can argue that many kids are educated too early, students start school too early, individuals enter the workforce too early, and retirement starts early. Nonetheless, getting ready to start a number of these activities is not necessarily a bad thing. Getting into college and acquiring certain skills in preparation starts way before high school. Many students acquire their core knowledge from kindergarten to eighth grade and if they are well off due to how much knowledge they took in, they are usually ready to take on the challenge of preparing for college (Murray 237). The foundation that core knowledge was built on needs to devote most of its time and resources to providing increased support for students and teachers in the early grades. Efforts are mostly needed in that field because there is hope that students can become more engaged if they get the amount of attention they need and teachers would need to work with them only if they are given back what they deserve. There is a lot to learn which is why teachers should not be afraid of giving the students extra review on topics they previously learned outside of the class. Certainly, with review more students will confident about what they have learned and find academic achievement. ... schools must start to offer more extra curricular activities. This is an issue which both Australia and England have left off their physical education. There could never be a case for making extra-curricular activities compulsory for children but it could be added to the curriculum and state that schools most give the option of after school activity. Regular curriculum checks need to be done to make sure schools are following the curriculum.
I also believe that everything a child learns in school should be tied into real life so they can see first hand the practicality of learning. Developing their reasoning and allowing them to “lead the way”, solving their problems and learning to lead their own lives are important to fitting into life outside the classroom. Parents are responsible for a child’s education. They must make the key choices regarding educational direction and set the tone for accountability. The school is the medium for content delivery and an important part of the educational team. Today’s educational system is full of choices for students and parents can maximize these opportunities. Regardless of the options, students must be present to reach their potential.
"Something is rotten in the state of Denmark." (Hamlet. 1.4, l.90) In every society a distinctive hierarchy or organization of power exists. In the Shakespearean world, life is kept constant through the maintenance of the Great Chain of Being or moral order. Any disruption in this chain is believed to cause chaos in society. In William Shakespeare's Hamlet, Denmark is thrown into chaos by the reckless actions of several characters that fail to follow the moral order. Hamlet is instructed by the ghost of his beloved father to restore order to Denmark and seek revenge on Claudius, the present king of Denmark and murderer of his father. By identifying the various levels of disorder in Denmark an evaluation of the effectiveness of Hamlet's "antic disposition" as a plan to restore order will be made.
The purpose of a high school education is to prepare one for college and ultimately, the workforce. By the end of freshman year, in high school, the average student has learned a sufficient amount of material in enough subjects , that he or she can be considered "well-rounded" in his or her studies. This is because the rate at which material is covered in schools, across the nation has increased dramatically compared to the past. Students now learn more advanced curriculum at a younger age, and this continues to become more evident year after year. High school has now become more focused on teaching students a small amount of information on several essential subjects, rather than having them focus deeply on the subjects they seek to pursue in career. Unfortunately, this shift in focus has caused the overall high school experience to stray away from its intended purpose. If students are not prepared for their career, what purpose does a high school education have? If High Schools inserted more elective course opportunities into their standard set of curriculum, it would further prepare students for the career of their choice, allow them to truly master a subject, build their confidence, and refine their talents so that they may grow and succeed their future occupations.
I will be giving specific examples to help me distinguish between the thinking patterns of 3-year-old preschooler and a 9-year-old student using Piaget’s theory of cognitive development. The biggest difference between the 3 year old and 9 year old is that the 3 year old is in the pre-operational stage and the 9 year old is in the concrete operational stage.
Socrates, a famous philosopher, once said, “I cannot teach anybody anything; I can only make them think.” This quote is interesting in the fact that in modern times it is mandatory to go to school for a certain length of time to be taught in order to learn. We have teachers that share their knowledge with their students so that the generations to come can continue to grow and develop. When a student is asked what their teachers do at school they will most likely respond with something along the lines of, “they teach.” This response is both true and false to an extent. Should all high school students be required to complete parenting classes? In parenting classes, you learn pregnancy prevention, knowledge of pregnancy, basic skills such as cooking and cleaning, tending to babies and children, growth and development, and also health and safety of the child. All high school students should be required to complete parenting classes because, it will assist them in preparation for parenthood. The benefits of parenting classes encourage prevention of many teen pregnancies and often teach CPR a skill for everyone to learn.

Childhood is a very important time in our lives, a time when we develop many vital skills that follow us into adulthood.
