Wayne Gretzky will be remembered because he broke many records in hockey. In his NHL career, his nickname was,”The Great One.” He is thought to be the best to ever play hockey. That is why Wayne Gretzky will always be

“Kanye Ran onto the stage saying, ‘I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!’” (Top 10 Outrageous Kanye West Moments), says Kanye West at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards after Taylor Swift had just won “Best Female Video.” People that are like this have typically not always been this way. They were probably raised as a polite and respectful person before they were exposed to fame and fortune, and other “celebrities,” making them feel like they are the only people on the planet. Causing them to do things like that. Although, Kanye West is an amazing musician based on his 14 Grammy Awards and multiple albums going “Double-Platinum” (Manheim, James M., and Carol Brennan). He fell victim to fame and fortune, and turned into an arrogant and overconfident person making him more popular and praised among media. But looked down upon by everyday people. Kanye Omari West, born on June 8th, 1977, is a world famous rapper who, like all other celebrities, started out like a nice person who made nice music for nice families to listen to. West was a confident and competitive person even as a child, “He was determined even then to get out of his crib and be free, even if he split his head in the process—and he did. He has fought ever since to do exactly what he wanted to do—no matter what,” says Donda West, his mother in her book, Raising Kanye: Life Lessons from the Mother of a Hip-Hop Superstar. By the time West was ten, he was already creating his own raps, and according to the people around him, he was pretty good at it even at that young of an age. (Manheim, James M., and Carol Brennan) West was not too interested in school as he grew up, but he was able to get by because of his talent. If he dropped out of one ...

He left a rich Jazz heritage for people around the world. Kanye Omari West, an icon of hip-hop, pop culture, fashion and music in general. Kanye Omari West, a person belittled against and a person subjected to a life of racism and hate. Born on June 8th, 1977, Donda West, West’s mother, always knew he was destined for greatness, but did she know her son would turn out to be the Kanye West, a man lacking the respect he deserves for transforming a big part of the music we listen to on this very day? West came onto the scene in the late nineties but didn’t release The College Dropout until 2004, an album that took everybody by surprise. Kanye West changed the gangster filled rap genre by releasing his positive, soulful debut album, changing the way rappers dress, and paving the way for a whole new style of introspective lyrics and soul-inspired rap production in the mainstream.
When you hear the name Tupac Amaru Shakur (2pac) you think of a rapper maybe a “Thug”. But Tupac just didn’t rap he was also a Poet. There is much more to his life than him rapping. Tupac positively affected society with his words in his songs and by singing. He was more than just a rapper.
How much does the world really know about Tupac Shakur? Tupac Shakur was a renowned hip hop artist whose rap music brought up many controversial topics. Tupac’s lifestyle played a large role in his contribution to music. Without his continual perseverance through his struggles in his early life, he wouldn’t have accomplished what he has done so later on in his career. His impact on the music industry has also greatly influenced the way society depicts the African American community. Shakur’s music has given white, middle-class Americans an insight on what it’s like to live in an inner city. (Josh Nisker). Tupac’s short life was a stem in the way rap is portrayed and interpreted in modern day hip hop.
Michael Jackson was an icon because he was creative, innovative, talented, but also had a heart which speaks volumes about the members of the black community. Michael Jackson was a representation of my people and he did so well and proudly. With his big afro when he was a part of Jackson 5 he was proud to be an African-American and he had soul. Although I was born many years later after that era, I was brought up listening to that music because of my grandmother and it gave me a sense of self. Michael Jackson’s music and the music of the Jackson 5 helped teach me what it meant to be Black and for that I am forever grateful.
It is known that his fame is compared to Notorious B.I.G’s fame. But, the most astounding status on the album charts that Biggie at any point accomplished while alive was #13 on the main 200 album charts, and #3 on the Rap and RnB outlines. but in reality it had been able to have the politicians, adults and people who didn't even listen and enjoyed rap music allowed Tupac and all the others that he spoke for to become recognised. Tupac was able to make an impact on those who did not even listen to rap music and have biased opinions about those like Tupac.
Jackson sold more records even after he passed away. Many of his songs can still be heard on the radio, while children are trying to imitates his voice and his dance moves. Jackson solidified his impact in the music
One of my reasons is that I like his voice and performance as well as his songs, as both "Michael Jackson" and "Jackson Five". Michael Jackson sings songs very well in his particular high-pitched tone as it can be proved by the big hits of his songs, for example, "THRILLER", " BILLIE JEAN" and "MOTOWN 25" etc, and by the many prizes he got, for instance, the first prize of male pop vocalists, of records and of R&B singers on Grammy in 1984. Besides, he entertains us with his sharp dance great performance like " moonwalk". When I listen to his songs in the morning before I go out, I can feel cheerful and powerful. I am a fan of Jackson Five as well. Before he began to sing by himself, he was the main vocalist of Jackson Five. When Michael was eleven years old, their first single CD, "I Want You Back", was released, and it was a very big hit all over the world. Michael was still little and cute, but his voice was very vigorous and rhythmical. His songs make me happy and energetic.
