Throughout the 80s, Jackson released two albums that broke racial and musical barriers in the music industry. In addition, he charted two of the best-selling albums in music history throughout the 80s. However in the 90s, Jackson continued to have great success with his albums and singles despite not having the major charting success in his previous work throughout the 80s. Jackson’s fashion style influenced generations of children and young adults. Jackson still influences children of all races and demographic because of his fashion style. The fashion style of Michael Jackson started from the 80s with the iconic glitter glove and red leather zipper jacket. Young children and adults wanted to dress and idolize Jackson because of his fashion sense. Jackson’s fashion style was very creative and original, because no one else could mimic his style of clothing. Jackson created an extraordinary impact on music. The impact that Jackson had on people transcends beyond his untimely death in 2009. Jackson sold more records even after he passed away. In the 90s, Prince success in music continued to expand with his songwriting as well as his albums and singles. Unlike Jackson, Prince musical career excel in the 90s. Similar to Jackson, Prince’s fashion style was iconic. Prince’s style was daring and ground breaking. Prince went against the normal and wore what he wanted to wear.
