Analysing Graph
The graph shows my averages of the angle of Incidence against the
angle of Refraction. The graph shows a very slight curve. This
suggests that my results are not quite accurate. This could be because
the angles are not accurate, or in proportion. This means that at the
start of the graph, the results are in proportion but as the angles
increase, the angles become less proportionate.
E.g. If I double the angle of incidence the angle of refraction will
also be doubled-
Angle I=20 Angle r=14
When doubled Angle I=40 Angle r=28
This does not happen on my averaged results, which means that my graph
is not accurate. This means that my Graph does not support my
prediction.
A better way of getting results that are more proportional would be to
use 'Snell's Law'. This means that you multiply the angle of incidence
by sin and the angle of refraction also by sin; separately.
I have plotted graphs from both sets of calculated gradients however I will concentrate on the graph plotted from the results show above as
I expect my graph to look like it does on the next page because I
I challenge you to take a trip back in time to your very first job orientation. Do you remember what the orientation process was like? In this short story titled "Orientation" written by Daniel Orozco, he tells the story of someone who is attending their orientation for an office job. This story is told by the narrator who is also the person conducting the orientation. The person on the receiving end is not specified, so that leads me to assume that the narrator intended for the audience reading this story to feel as though they are apart of this story and as though the narrator is actually talking to them specifically. Personally, when reading this story, I imagined that I was the one who was taking a tour of the office because the author
sin θ → sin θ = 16.99° 16.99° is the best angle on the ground si n(θ)=7/√((〖37.64〗^2+7^2)) → sin θ =
This is, the more reagents added, the more products there are. The amount of products formed is directly proportional to the temperature change since this is the amount of energy transferred as a result of the breaking and forming of intra-molecular bonds. The scatter diagrams at first glance look as if they follow different gradients, however considering the scales upon which the results in either diagram are measured, it shows they both increase at the same rate represented by a positive linear relationship. This can be described in the form y = mx, m being the gradient of the rate of temperature increase in respect to mass of reagents present. Standard deviation will give us an indication as to the accuracy of the results.
After taking this course, this has been a struggling journey. I did not find fun in this class due to the grade I have now as a result. My writing skills did not improve from high school, losing confidence in myself to create well-written, interesting papers. However, this class has given me ideas about new styles of writing. Having done these papers helped me to discern the qualifications to write a rhetorical analysis essay from a visual critique paper. Here is how my experience in College Writing went.
I predict that the as I increase the height of the slope (or the angle
Reflection is a process that begins with looking back on a situation thinking about it, learning from it and then using the new knowledge to help you in similar situations in the future. We need to evaluate through reflection to examine whether change is needed. We can then decide what action is needed and what we would do the next time we are faced with a similar situation. It might not necessarily be something you have done wrong, it may well be you were happy with the outcome of a situation you had some input into and would do again. It may have been something you did differently that had a positive result and
This semester in kinesiology it has helped make my decision in what I want to to do in my career choice. Educating me on the human body and how the muscles work together, which is not only the study of human movement but the physical aspect but mentally as well, Kinesiology is describes the and explains daily activities, working out cardiovascularly or strength training, voluntary and involuntary movements and combining it with anatomy and physical education and psychological & sociological aspect as well giving knowledge in my future career as personal trainer, bodybuilder and biomedical engineer.
Therefore, the cross will disappear more quickly due to the cloudiness of the solution. I predict that as concentration is doubled, the amount of time taken for the reaction is halved. This means that both graphs drawn up in my analysis will have positive correlation, and will probably be curved as the increase in rate of reaction will not be exactly the same as the concentration increases. This can be justified by relating to the collision theory. If solutions of reacting particles are made more concentrated, there are more particles per unit volume.
Refraction of Light Aim: To find a relationship between the angles of incidence and the angles of refraction by obtaining a set of readings for the angles of incidence and refraction as a light ray passes from air into perspex. Introduction: Refraction is the bending of a wave when it enters a medium where it's speed is different. The refraction of light when it passes from a fast medium to a slow medium bends the light ray toward the normal to the boundary between the two media. The amount of bending depends on the indices of refraction of the two media and is described quantitatively by Snell's Law. (Refer to diagram below)
Refraction is a process that occurs when light travels between media of different optical density. Light travels at a speed of roughly 3.0 × 108ms-1 in a vacuum. A vacuum has a refractive index n=1.00. The speed at which the light is travelling will decrease as it moves into differently optically
This lesson is designed to review and reinforce a few important concepts about plants (e.g. Needs, parts, sequence of planting) and to also guide the students through applying a few scientific inquiry (e.g. Making observations, experimentation, discussion, reflection, reporting results etc.). The students have previously planted corn and bean seeds and today’s lesson has provided the students a chance to see the results of the planted corn and bean seeds. Additionally, seeds have been planted under and growing under the following conditions: without water, and without soil. The students see the results of these seeds planted under these conditions for the past week. Two plants in particular have already been grown their growth has been
Throughout this course I have learned so much. I have learned about how religious views can play a part in the way we treat the environment which I never considered before. I have also learned about the different ideas the authors have on how we are treating the environment. The question that I reflected most on what is our appropriate role in relation to the environment. In the beginning of the course, and still now I have a strong belief in that we are responsible for the environment and should be taking care of it. My thinking has not changed on this part, it but has changed on thinking that we are intelligent species. After reading different articles in this class I now know that if we are not as intelligent as we may perceive to be, or
I will fund my exhibit through donations and sales. I would reach out to the community, explain my exhibit and ask for donations, but I would primarily generate revenue through selling items related to the exhibit like prints of the works being shown, creative posters, key chains, t-shirts and other mementos. Additionally, I would have bake sales and fairs and other activities of a similar nature.
