The Hadith is a unique and an essential source of Islamic History. It is considered to be the second to the Qur’an. It is known to be impossible to understand the Qur’an without looking back to the Hadith; and impossible to explain a Hadith without connecting it to the Qur’an. They both go hand in hand—that said they do have their differences but both are important. The Hadith gives an insight of the preliminary Islamic life. Telling who was around and involved in those times. The people that were around at that time would be considered to be secondary accounts of Muhammad’s words and actions. The Hadith is like a record; such as, the historical events of their time and establish a record of examples on which future decisions were right or wrong based on the Prophet. Regardless of the existence of the Qur’an it’s crucial to seek the Hadith for a secondary source. There are two sources that should be considered and referred to when trying to get a better understanding of the readings.
The word Hadith is an Arabic word and it means ‘saying’ in the English language. The Hadith is part of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) Sunnah. Sunnah (path or way) it is a primary source of law taken from the sayings, actions, and approvals of the Prophet Muhammad. Muslims are commanded by God to follow this Sunnah, together with the Quran (holy book of Islam) as sources of Islam religion teachings and rules. To Muslims and other follows the Prophet Muhammad is like a role model for human; he is the one that people should follow in the faith—in all his doings, practices, and saying. Hadith refers to the prophet’s sayings; as for, sources of man Islam moral. And it is known to still be followed by believers today. The Hadith gives details ...

In other words the Hadith is a central to the proper understanding of the Qur’an. It is said that without the examples given by the Prophet as documented in the Hadith a follower/believer would not know how to pray, fast, perform Hajj if he/she had no knowledge of the Hadith. It is known that all necessary details are giving in the Hadith, not only in the Qur’an. As said before both go hand-in-hand, because the Qur’an is the message, while the Hadith is a verbal translation of the message into a realistic way that is demonstrated by the Prophet Muhammad. Hence, the Qur’an is essential but so is the Hadith. In the Islamic society the two (The Qur’an and Hadith) are fundamental sources that are very important in the world of Islam.
Knowledge of the existence of Allah (swt) is the key element that establishes our faith and reflects on our actions. Allah's Apostle said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):
In books written on Islam the word "hadith" usually refers to the sayings or "traditions" which have been given from the Prophet. Muslims hold these to be the most important source of Islamic teachings after the Qur’an. A lot of books have been written in English about what the hadith means in Islam and a number of important translations have been made. Almost all the studies have been limited to the point of view of Sunni Islam and based on Sunni sources and collections. Practically no one has ever paid any attention to the different nature of the hadith literature in Shiism and the different sources from which the hadiths are recieved.
Islam is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion alongside Judaism and Christianity. It is currently the second largest religion in the world today. Its beliefs come from the Qur'an which literally means "the recitation" which is believed to be a literal transcription of the word of God. Its main prophet is named Muhammad who began Islam by speaking with the angel Gabriel in a cave during his meditation and then acting as an instrument of God to help write the Qur’an. Muhammad then spread Islam to the scattered tribes of Arabia by becoming the leader of Yathrib and using his wonderful leadership abilities to then grow his influence over virtually all of Arabia. Muhammad is known by Muslims to be the seal of the profits because no profits after Muhammad should be considered legitimate. Muhammad also left behind the Hadith or “tradition” which is a collection of writings compiled of reports of Muhammad’s actions as leader of Yathrib. These reports are used as a more specific code of ethics in day to day life and from these reports the 5 Pillars of Islam are derived (Smith 160). Although Islam shares many similarities to Judaism and Christianity it is often viewed in the US with hate derived from preconceived notions following the attack on September 11th 2001. This paper seeks to provide an overview of Islam’s history as well as its two major sects and 5 main pillars to remove preconceived notions and provide a glance into the minds of the Islamic people.

In order to understand the Islamic concept of barzakh, one must be able to have knowledge of the Islamic prophecy and things associated with it. Only then can one learn what happens in barzakh, followed by an understanding of what happens on the Day of Judgment, which is also important for the understanding of the concept of barzakh. More importantly, by understanding historical context of the Islam belief, one is able to distinguish the differences in Islamic beliefs from beliefs of the older two Abrahamic faiths; Christianity and Judaism.

The Qur’an is believe to the ultimate source of God by many Muslim believers. It contains 114 suras for the believers as the core practices of the Islamic religion and Muslims throughout the world recites its verses (Chang, Lecture. 1/21/14). They believed the prophet of Allah was Muhammad, who received the words of Allah through Angel Gabriel, and was passed on with the Qur’an during Ramadan. Angel Gabriel one night came to Muhammad “in clear human form” (“Scripture and Tradition in Islam- The Qur’an and Hadith” 104), and gave the messages from Allah to him. From the establishment of the Qur’an, Muslims have viewed the book as the last revelation of their god Allah, and thus are the true words from God for their ways of life and in reaching Allah in their afterlife. The book also teaches “mankind’s responsibility assigned by God” (Gordon 115). Therefore, Muslims practices in ways to prove their devotion towards the new religion of Islam by being faithful, and performing religious practices.

...writer starts the essay by stating the basic fudamentals of Muslim's beleif and action. Then she connects this idea with beleifs and actions shown and inplied through the media. After that, the media images are connected with the fact that the images cause fear and stereotypes; the teachings that correct the stereotypes are also linked. Next the teachings are connected with the Quran and the leaders and groups who misunderstand and violate the teachings. After that, the five pillars of Islam are explained, described and defined. Finally, it is explained how the pillars affect Muslims by defining their character and lives. All of these ideas are organized so that they are logically linked with the writer's strategy. The writer's strategy includes explainations, the use of examples, and comparison and contrast, to support each idea claimed and to define a "true" Muslim.
