Topic: Nuclear Power
Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience that why we should use Nuclear power and it is the solution to the energy crisis.
Thesis: Nuclear power could replace coal and solve the energy crisis unlike the other alternatives such as renewable energy. Such as wind and solar power.
Introduction
(Attention Getter :)
I. Good Afternoon guys, many of you comes from countries that utilize nuclear power. Whether to use nuclear power or not is a controversial topic that is often debated upon.
(Credibility statement :)

Nuclear power stations are more costly to build but cheaper to run than other power stations. Therefore it is more efficient in the long run. C. Less pollution than fossil fuels. (Slide 5)
1. Uranium does not release pollution into the air, it is carbon free. Unlike coal which we obtain energy through combustion and it releases CO2. D. The output of nuclear power is acceptable.
1. As I mentioned previously, there are 440 nuclear reactors worldwide generating 2,500TWh (terawatt hours) per year which is much more than the other renewable energy. Energy Monitor Worldwide stated that “In the U.S. nuclear plants generate 54 percent of the state’s electricity and 97 percent of its low carbon electricity.”
2. Furthermore, according to the volume 4 of “International journal of Energy and Environment” The efficiency is predicted to rise in the near future. The graph from the journal shows that the future generations will be improved on top of the generation III we have right now.
Transition: Often people bring up other alternatives that could also be the solution to the problem, such as solar, wind, and other forms of renewable energy. However, there are a number of reasons why that nuclear is better. III. There are a number of disadvantages that renewable energy
