The Education of Women.
“Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world”. This is how Nelson Mandela would define the term. Unfortunately, women have largely been excluded from the educational field. And nowadays the education is being taken for granted by the woman herself and by her society. But the ones who received a proper education have changed the world.
In fact, in order to become an active and useful member of the society, everyone needs to be educated. In other words, women should be educated.
Education has been considered for long as an option that only the qualified people could get.
But this isn’t the case, education today is highly considered as a right and not a privilege. The Department for International Development confirms that the education is a right for everyone (Girl’s …show more content…

First of all, her own life is being improved. As cited in the UNICEF’s article, Girl’s education,(n.d), it has been proved that educating a girl ensures her a “happier and a healthier” life. Talking about the health, the majority of the women who died during pregnancy are uneducated, this is due to their lake of knowledge about their own health. So an educated lady is happier, wealthier and healthier.
Second of all, the educated woman is improving the life of everyone related to her.
She has to take the role of three characters in her life: A daughter, a partner or wife and finally a mother. She will have difficulties playing every role if she’s not educated. Effectively, educating a woman is directly linked with the education of the whole family (Girl’s education: A Lifeline to development, UNICEF, (n.d)).
Actually the child’s first education is given by his mother, so how is he supposed to get an accurate one if his instructor (the mother) isn’t educated?
