Systems Design and Implementation
Systems design is about answering questions such as “how will the information system solve a problem”. The purpose of systems design is to modify and update existing systems to achieve organizational goals. Technical design is the details of a systems outputs, inputs, and the user interface. And includes hardware, software, databases, telecommunications, personnel, and procedures. This involves the components and how they relate to one another.
However, there are different methods of accomplishing the goal of logical design and it involves what the system will be able to do. It describes the functions of the system and includes planning, and the purpose of it. The specifications include output, input, process, file, database, procedures, telecommunications, controls, security, personnel, and job requirements. Security is really important in logical design.
Physical design is how tasks are accomplished and how the components of the system will work together. Hardware, software, database, telecommunications, personnel, and procedure and control...

Specifically what my main goal in this paper is to help you understand what a Computer Systems Analyst is, what they do, things like those that explain everything about a Computer Systems Analyst. You could probably guess from the name of this job title that the main function of a Computer Systems Analyst is to determine how a computer system can best help something. Well this is exactly the key role of what they do is determine how a computer system can best serve a business or organization's needs. David P. Bieg says “You need to understand how systems interact, but you don’t really need to understand the core of every technology---it’s really about how information and process flows through the system.” Someone who is working as a Computer Systems Analyst is going to to have to be big-picture oriented and be able to understa...
Implement physical security: - “Physical security protects people, data, equipment, systems, facilities and company assets” (Harris,
Three waves of systems theory were developed (Healy, 2005). The first wave, being General systems theory. General systems theory is about focussing on a more effective social order for the client,...
After the systems planning is complete, the next course of action is the systems analysis phase. This phase includes defining the requirements of the system. This means that the team must conclude what the system needs to do in order to satisfy the users. This is done by forming a requirements...
So all in all, Cyber Physical System is a system in which cyber and physical systems are tightly integrated at all scales and levels. The Integration of computer and physical processes is also known as Cyber Physical System. Physical processes are monitored and controlled by the embedded computer and networks. Usually this is done by using feedback loop physical process affect computations.
Introduction of the three programs being suggested will require an examination of the systems development life cycle. Haag, Cummings, and McCubbrey (pg 6-7, 2005) separate the life cycle into seven separate sections: planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The first piece of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), planning, requires the analysis of the projected idea's impact on the business. Haag, Cummings, and McCubbrey (pg 12, 2005) point out that the planning phase of the SDLC "focuses on either solving a problem or taking advantage of an opportunity." The next section of the SDLC is the analysis, which allows project managers to criticize the milestones established in the planning phase. In other words, the operations of each of the three projects must be judged on each project's accuracy, including the design, for long-term functionality.

The elements of design were created by Arthur Wesley Dow to help people see, describe, and create visual qualities in a systematic way. It consists of 7 elements: line, shape, form, colour, value, texture and space.
Previously we have discussed the detail study of the system that analysis the requirements . While the requirements specification activity is entirely in the problem domain, design is the first step in moving from the problem domain toward the solution domain. Design is essentially the bridge between requirements specification and the final solution for satisfying the requirements[]. In this chapter we will produce a model that represent the system which can be used later to build the system. In the next sections we are going to discuss the architectural design of Smart Course. The architecting process can be thought as a decision making process in which the appropriate decisions must be made. Upon to that we will answer and clarify fundamental questions like: is the system centralized or distributed, how the system will be decomposed into model, which control , organization and reference model are selected. Moreover, we describe the main model that represent the Smart Course.
Laszlo and Krippner (1998) describe a system as “a complex of interacting components together with the relationships among them that permit the identification of a boundary-maintaining entity or process. (p. 2) Systems Theory is based on studying how individual parts of a system interact with each other to produce certain behaviors. System theory can be classified as identifying patterns and behaviors. The roots of system thinking have been in existence since the early 20th Century and have since been formally identified as such. The process of systems thinking is being able to pay attention to the whole while focusing on the complex interrelationships that make up a system to encourage the development
Within the analysis phase a set of goals are needed within the domain. From this there are three perspectives which are taken; the object model the Ronald LeRoi Burback (1998) states “dynamic model, and a functional model. The object model represents the artifacts of the system. The dynamic model represents the interaction between these artifacts represented as events, states, and transitions. The functional model represents the methods of the system from the perspective of data flow.” After the analysis phase the system design phase takes place. Here the system is sub-categorized and appointed tasks and persistent data storage is established, also within this phase the architecture is formed. Lastly the object design phase starts and is where the implementation plan is established and algorithms and object classes are also
Requirements engineering begins during the communication activity, continues into the modeling activity, and builds a bridge from the system requirements into software design and construction. Through requirements engineering, there is an examination of the context of software work performed. It is essential for the software engineering team to understand all requirements of a problem before the team tries to solve the problem. An identification of specific needs that the design and construction must address is also included. Further is a need for the identification of the priorities that guides the order for the completion of work. This i...

I enjoyed the topic as it provided a logical way of thinking and going about doing things. Sometimes it can be easy to make quick judgements and try to change things but looking deeper into the system and at the big picture can help us better understand the situation.
