Effectiveness against defined objectives

“Performance objectives are simple written descriptions of what good performance in the job looks like.” (Joan Henshaw, 2011)
“A performance objective is a specific end result that contributes to the success of the unit or organization and that an employee is expected to accomplish or produce. It provide focus to an employee’s work to ensure that his or her actions are directed towards achieving important mission-related outcomes.” (Anon, 2009)

Performance Objective gives the action that you are going to make in able to achieve the goal. This gives the description on how you are going to accomplish the work and be committed to meet the success. This also represent as the path to be reminded to stay focus and make sure that you are doing what is planned to get the expected result. Basically, it specifies the outcome or end result of a work activity. The importance of Performance Objective is that it helps to guide you to the path towards the goal you want to achieve. This could help to understand what things that is expected with the performance. This tells what parts of the jobs are most important and less important. I have achieved my high grades before by always attending the class. I pay attention and write notes so that I could review it afterwards. And if I don’t have the notes, I will review from the slides that we have discuss. By that, it also helps me in doing my assignments. Before I do the assignment, the first thing I do is to read and understand the guidelines. Then I always try to answer the merit and distinction part even though it is difficult. And of course most importantly is the implementation of knowledge that I gain from my studies and the overall effort I put in to it. Therefore, I have achieved high grades by doing this
