Insoles
Insoles are soft cushions placed inside your shoe or boot. The word insole comes from two words, “In” from insert and “sole” from the sole of your foot. Insoles serve in lots of different purposes from helping with warmth, deodorizing and even giving you a few pushes of height. But most commonly, aside from fashion, insoles are used to sooth foot pains and maybe even help fix problems such as the Achilles tendonitis, corns, metatarsalgia, sesamoiditis, ankle sprains, flat feet, neuroma, tendonitis, arch pain, heel pain, pronation, top of the foot pain, bunions, knee pain, shin pain, toe pain, metatarsalgia, mid tarsal arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and plantar callus. They help relieve jolt pains from the foot, heel, and knee and even up to the hip. Diabetics could also use insoles for they would help them lessen the pain with the high shock absorption provided in the insole. For those who doesn’t have any problems with their foot, insoles can help them too! Women who does shopping or men who run track and field, kids who spends hours standing up, all benefit from the insoles.. Overweight people also benefit from the insoles. Their shoe insoles would help counter- attack the extra pressure and stress that is applied to the feet. There are certain insoles that also provide thermal insulation against the cold; which leads me to NASA’s finding they call Toasty Feet toasty feet protects your feet from both heat and cold and also gives you great comfort. He also complained about how the fabric laminated to the top made his socks bunch up under his feet which happens even more often when he leaves his socks to be a bit loose and not lacing his shoe maximum tightness when he thinks of maximizing his warmth.
The Toasty Feet has improved tons of people’s lives, peoples jobs are now more comfortable and people find it easier to enjoy doing their activities away from thick layers of socks and bundles of warm wear. Soon, after really understanding the aerogel could lead to more thermal insulation products that would be beneficial to our society. Insoles have helped cure a lot of pains and discomfort. Hopefully, with the information that they got from making the insoles, they would be able to find the healing magic behind science.

Over pronation of the foot happens when too much weight is transferred to the medial part (the arch) of the foot. This can often be confused with plantar fasciitis. Over pronation of the foot is normally an over use injury that is developed over time. A person that goes a long period of time with this issue is putting a great deal of stress on the ligaments in the medial aspect of the ankle and this can result in a great deal of damage to them. An excess amount of damage can be con the muscles, tendons and ligaments of the ankle. Because being over pronated pulls the foot down, damage to the knees hips and back can also be caused from not being properly aligned.
In this piece of writing techniques such as exaggeration of functionality is provided to make the audience more impressed by the product. Although the information is unrelated and obviously over exaggerated, it is used in correct context form. In line 13, this article satirizes emphasizes marketers put into their products to convince consumers, MagnaSoles promise to “actually soothes while it heals, restoring the foots natural bioflow” with this information given, consumers are more likely to buy the MagnaSoles shoe inserts. Also it implies a problem with human biomechanics by using sarcastic buzzwords such as bioflow; they create a counterfeit sense of professionalism. Exaggeration is a huge factor in marketing products “MagnaSoles is not just a shoe insert…it’s a total foot-rejuvenation system” (line 16-17) once something is departed, there is no motivation to bring it back to life, consumers love to know that a product will make them feel happy, energetic and healthy again instead of go...

We are educated about the effects of its miraculous technologies, and how they " utilize the healing power of crystals to restimulate dead foot cells with vibrational biofeedback . . . a process similar to that by which medicine makes people better," despite crystals not being successfully used in medical research today, and despite cells not being about to revive themselves after they decay. Furthermore, one customer claims that MagnaSoles helped to heal her sprained ankle after seven weeks, which is contradicting the credibility of the product itself since such an injury would take far less than seven weeks to heal, especially if supported by a supportive insert such as the MagnaSoles. Additionally, another customer challenges the public and those who have not yet purchased MagnaSoles, asking "why [he] should pay thousands of dollars to have [his] spine realigned with physical therapy when I can pay $20 for insoles clearly endorsed by an intelligent-looking man in a white lab coat?” This mocking review of the product reveals the customer's ignorant awareness of who develops the product and how to judge his credibility, along with his oblivious choice of MagnaSoles over a proven medical

The blueprint of a Nike Shoe originates from the Nike Research Lab located at the Nike World Headquarters in Oregon. At the Nike Research Lab, researchers carry out various tests in biomechanics, physiology, sensory in order to customise the product to suit the best interest of the clients. In addition, various factors such as geography, age, gender are also taken into account in order to cater to appeal to the preferences and needs of different segments of the market. For example, according to the Lab, runners in the United States prefer hard surfaces while those in Europe prefer trails and thus this will affect the compositions of the footwear sold in different regions. The latest innovation of the Research Lab, the NikeFree Shoe enhanced overall athletic performance by stimulating the effect of running barefoot with added features which enabled the strengthening of muscles and lowering the risk of injuries.

The human foot is an incredibly complex part of the body, it is made up of twenty-six bones which is fully twenty-five percent of the bones in the entire body. The structure of the forefoot includes the five metatarsal bones and the phalanges. The metatarsal bones are for forward movement and provides attachment for several tendons. The phalanges, also known as the toes, movement take place in the joints. The foot movement only has two movements; inversion and eversion. All the joints in the hindfoot and midfoot contributes to these complex movements. The foot has two significant functions: weight bearing and impulsion, which both requires a high degree of stability. The foot must also be flexible so it is able to adapt to uneven surfaces. The various bones and joints of the foot are what allows the foot to be flexible. In order for the foot to be able to support any weight the various of bones must form an arch. The foot has three arches that are maintain by the shape of the bones and by the ligaments. The arches are supported by the muscles and tendons. What's in a shoe? Perhaps it was originally intended to protect one's feet from the elements but today the shoe has evolved from its practical origins to grandiose heights, and at the highest level is of course, the high heel. Heels are not something one simply wears on their feet, but a passion, hobby, personal expression, source of authority, sexual independence, staple of gendered feminine culture, mark of flaunted femininity, psychologically empowering, and joy. Women choose to wear high heels for many reasons; the key is that they indeed are the ones who proactively choose to endorse the high heel, often at the expense of their own physical com...
