Importance Of Being An INFP Leadership

As an INFP leadership is something that I can struggle with, although I enjoy having a voice in things and put my opinion out there, I try and steer clear of owning a title. As an INFP I prefer having a more relaxed casual working environment without strict rules to follow and therefore I don’t want to be the rule maker. I don’t mind supporting my boss and providing valuable feedback and tools to improve my workplace, however, I would just rather not have the weight on my shoulders, of having to be responsible for others actions.

As I told the head doctor that I work for earlier this week when asked if I’ve been holding team meetings to discuss the upcoming week’s schedule and the events of the office, “no as I feel like I get the response of who the heck are you to tell me what to do?” He states that will need to be addressed, however, until someone from higher up, either the office manger or the doctors address this issue, I do not see weekly meetings with me in the leadership role discussing the office business …show more content…

As a leader there I was someone who always kept an open door policy with those I lead, as I had been in there shoes and moved up from within the company. I had compassion towards my team. As a leader I worked hard and strived to make sure my team did their very best. I enjoyed challenging my team with goals to meet and records to beat from previous shifts. I strived to make it a fun environment. However, it was a lot of weight to carry and the responsibility was immense. It was a challenging position to be in, especially on days when I worked with friends, as there is a fine line between friendship and management.
