Although Idea Exchange has done fairly good for the last eight years, it lacks competitive advantage, cost-effectiveness, a global client-base, and efficiency that its competitors that have embraced technology enjoy. Technological inventions have changed the dynamics of conducting businesses such that companies that are still operating the “Brick and Motor” business are quickly losing not only their profits, but also their influence in the market. This is attributed to the myriad of opportunities and advantages that come with finding adequate self-support systems and better customer support through technology, which increases customer satisfaction. For instance, adequately satisfied customers are likely to remain loyal to Idea Exchange, as opposed to unsatisfied customers who might be tempted to seek satisfaction from competitors who have not only embraced technology to improve on their service provision.
