I would like to be in this class next year, because I want to be helpful to other people. I also had a stroke not long ago. The doctors were not sure why it happened, so I need to figure out why this happened. I would like to help others with the same or similar problem I had. I wish to help and do it to see a smile on a face, for a bit money or for free. I want to help in Mexico because a lot of people live in poverty and I have family there. My goal in life is to become a neurologist, and I need to start somewhere. As a neurologist I would want to go to Mexico and help those with little to no money. After graduating high school, I want to go to college, and if I get in, I would like to study for occupational therapy assistant. When I get a job and start to earn money I will slowly get my neurology degree. My plan to pay for college is to gain money by being a translator during high school. I will be able to translate in hospitals and other places. Later I will try to get a degree in occupational therapy. With that I will try and become a neurologist. …show more content…
I also think this class would be fun to take, I have a very good understanding of the human body and learning about it is fun. I would like to join not only because I like science, but because I enjoy helping people who need help. Where my family lives in Mexico, there aren’t many hospitals nearby. I want to create a clinic/hospital. That will not only help those who are ill, but help those who need jobs and
My plan for after high school is to major in a science related to the medical field, most likely something that relates neuroscience with genetic studies, like neurobiology. I also hope to take the pre-medical classes required for me to enroll in medical school, which is my current goal for after undergraduate college.
It would be an honor to get a job in a hospital studying the brain, and researching different brain diseases. I would love to come up with a new cure to a brain disease that would help millions all over. I would go to any hospital that needed a job in my study, just so I can help others. I have always been I would say obsessed with the brain. It is crazy to think that each part of the brain does a different function for the human body, and one hit or virus could affect all of that. But with my studies I hope to have a cure so that those that worry how they will pay the bills, if their loved ones are going to live another day will not have to worry anymore. Attending college will just be the first step to my goal. After my undergraduate schooling, I will apply for medical school in pursue to get my doctorate's degree. Continuing my education is the beginning of a journey of helping people all over the
People across the world participate in recovery programs every day. Dedicated people in professions, such as occupational therapy, work to help each person regain his or her ability to engage in everyday activities. One wishing to pursue a career in occupational therapy would first need to evaluate the career and the significant effects on themselves and the clients.
Occupational therapy is also known as the dynamic and developing healthcare profession that deals with people in ways of regaining their skills required for the every days of life. For a very long time I have always had the desire to achieve my dreams in becoming an occupational therapist. I am very well equipped with creativity, flexibility and the ability to aid people in solving their every day’s life challenges they get involved in. Occupational therapy is quite involving and needs good strategies and skills for one to be successful in the program.
You ever ask someone where they see themselves in life? You may get a variety of different answers. Overtime I went through many different career changes cause I couldn’t really settle with one. Well when it came to wanting to be an Occupational Therapist I grew ecstatic. It wasn’t about the amount of money that could be made it was about the fact that I could help children of all ages to conquer things they struggled with before. Occupational therapists goals are to serve clients to get them back to their working environment successfully.
Nothing will deter me from achieving my goal of becoming an Occupational Therapist. I have
Out of hundreds of thousands of different jobs available in the country, the attractiveness of Anesthesiology has caught my attention. Ever since discovering the career and its rigorous requirements, I have been trying my hardest to achieve it. To become an Anesthesiologist requires dedication, responsibility and passion and I believe I acquire those assets. It requires demanding education and many years of pure dedication to have this occupation. University of Central Florida provides this requirement to become an Anesthesiologist, so I have decided to meticulously try my hardest to be admitted to this university.
“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”-Marla Robinson. Occupational Therapists guide and support their patients in a planned treatment program to help them to learn how to live a daily, independent life. Occupational Therapists employ a substantial amount of leisure and social skills. This is an excellent profession to look into. I chose Occupational Therapy because growing up I always admired my mom’s career as a speech therapist. I would go to work with her and help her as much as I could as an eight year old child. As I have grown up now, I realized my dream to be in the therapy field is just in my reach. I plan to job shadow an Occupational Therapist and look into therapy courses at nearby colleges to get my dream on the right track. Occupational Therapy includes a rigorous course of study and excellent benefits for those who wish to promote skills for independent daily living.
We are all born to live, not to simply exist. Experiences in life have taught me there is a purpose behind each individual’s existence. Discovering this purpose, has been challenging. My educational and professional background have helped shape my immediate and long term professional goals. Becoming an Occupational Therapist has become both my immediate and long-term goals in life.
First off, I want to graduate from college and do it well. I want to be able to do things on the weekends and not worry about having to make things up or anything like that. I am hoping for a scholarship in football, in my opinion that would be a great start for me in college. Then after college maybe pursue that as a career. If that doesn't work out for me then I want to look into athletic training or physical therapy. If those things don't interest me or I don't get into it I am then looking into law. That will take much more time and patience, but it's gonna be the rest of my life.

In this essay/report I will explain to the best of my abilities, my possible career path. I have wanted to be many things. In grade 1, I wanted to be a superhero, and that hope stayed out for a while. Later on, when I was 10, my brain started getting new ideas, exploring the world around me, thinking of other things aside form cartoons and I thought to myself, how in the world am I going to become a superhero? I started thinking of other jobs like firefighter, police officer, engineer, construction worker etc., etc. But then I decided it was no good. Then one day when I was watching an interview on TV, a firefighter was being interviewed and one of the questions was: How long did it take you to decide what you wanted to be? And he said a long time. Then I wondered how long a long time would be, I wanted to jump into the TV and ask the guy how long a long time was. Hmm, I wondered, how long is a long time and then I answered my question. “It’s going to be a long time ‘till it’s a long time, I’ve got nothing to worry about.” That question just flew off my mind until at the start of grade eight when I encountered this question again, and I answered it. It took a while and some research but I answered it. I want to be a Neurosurgeon when I grow up.
My goal is to go to college and then have a career. It 's a goal that probably a lot of people have,
I wanted to see which career would be best for me. Coming into this class, I knew I wanted to work rehabilitating people from their injuries. As I have been an athlete since middle school, I have had my share of injuries. I have had sprained ankles, torn tendons, broken
Honestly, that is a great question. I know where I want to be in 10 years, but I am not exactly sure where life will lead me to in 10 years. I have always aspired to become a physician, but I never really knew what I had a passion for. It was only recently during my junior year in high school that an AP Psychology course ignited a passion for the brain. Ever since, I have dreamt of being a neurologist, but any medical field involving neuroscience isn’t out of question. Lately, I have been reflecting a lot about what I want in life and what I’m willing to sacrifice in order to accomplish this dream and I am not sure where I want to draw that line just yet. I think as I gain more experience through shadowing, volunteering, and other similar medical experiences I will be better suited to make those tough decisions that have significant value to me. I think a Behavioral Neuroscience is perfect in regards to what I want to do in life. My dream involves the brain and Behavioral Neuroscience will prepare me incredibly well for
