He’s not allowed to sit and eat at the table, instead he has to eat in the kitchen. But he doesn’t let that affect who him not one bit. Which shows tremendous courage and character. The author wants to persuade the audience that the speaker is no different from anyone else, and that it doesn’t matter if you’re Blue, Black, White, Purple, or Orange at the end of the day were all the same and created by one, God. Now for any old average teenager growing up that might bother them a little bit, or may make them feel a sense of oppression. Or make them wonder “why am I always outside of the mix?” But what the author did in this case scenario was the exact opposite.
