My name is Katniss Everdeen And I am 12 Years Old. You might know about me in the Hunger Games. But you do not know about this story.
I woke up and got ready for a hunt and when I was leaving the house my mom asked “where are you going?” I said” I am going to the market to talk”. When I left I went straight to the fence and ran to the woods. I met up with My friend Gale and we went to go hunting. While we were hunting we could hear things but we did not know what it was. Then after a while we started to set up some traps and check the other ones we set up the day before. Soon we saw a bunnie and i took a shot and the Bunnie died all instantly. We kept on looking around and after a little bit longer and we saw nothing then we checked the traps and their was nothing so we were going to check tomorrow.

Gale told me to run and when we started to run the noise stopped and when we got to the gate we went to the market and sold the Bunnie and we got some bread, goat cheese, and milk . The next morning we did the same thing but my mom was too busy cries with my little sister about our father's death. I met with Gale again. We went to check the traps and one of the trapps there was a rabbit ripped apart and blood was everywhere. We did not know what was able to do that neither did Gale. As we were walking home petrified we heard a noise again and I instantly aimed a bow at the bush. After a while a rabbit came out and I shot it. When we were walking back we found some tracks they looked like not a normal animal track, then it hit me what if the capital let them walk around the districts to stop the people breaking the rules. The capital made special types of animals during the war that my father died

The book The Hunger Games is full of critical scenes. A critical scene is a type of scene that is necessary for the book to have a story. One very important critical scene is when Prim was chosen at the reaping. When she was chosen Katniss decided to take her place as a tribute. Why did Katniss take her place? What could have happened if she didn't take her place?

Katniss is the main character in the novel, The Hunger Games. The author of this book is Suzanna Collins. Katniss is a 16 year old who has been chosen with 23 other tributes. In my class we have studied themes and key ideas such as Power of the Capitol, Competition against other tributes and Sacrifice for what Katniss acts and does in the Hunger Games. There are many themes but I have chosen these 3 because they show the most emotions and power.
In The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins depicts many instances of the strategy and planning necessary for self-preservation survival during the games. These occurrences span over numerous characters in many situations that all take various approaches to the tasks on hand. The major characters that the situational survival strategies revolve around are Peeta, Katniss, Rue, Cato, and Haymitch and are present throughout Collins’ novel. Gary Ross’ 2012 adaptation is fairly accurate in these scenes, but includes minor alterations from artistic license. In The Hunger Games Collins strongly utilizes the emotional characteristics sympathy and deception while Ross is able to visually represent the ability to communicate beyond words, communicate in silence and secrecy, and utilize clear visuals all to show the strategy that is involved throughout the games and how it is accentuated or understated in the jump from text to film.
Katniss Everdeen, the protagonist, of the Hunger Games frequently showcases the quality of selflessness throughout the novel, although when she volunteers herself as tribute in place of her sister, is certainly a moment worthy of recognition. Selflessness is when someone has a deeper concern of others than one's own. "I volunteer, I volunteer as tribute!" are the words of Katniss at the reaping when her sister Prim was chosen to participate in the annual Hunger Games. Through volunteering, Katniss had expressed her love and loyalty for her sister, so much so that she would give her life. Katniss' act of selflessness had highlighted the strong bond that her and her sister, Prim share. Repetition is used to emphasise Katniss selfless decision, which further highlights her determination to risk her life for those she loves. The readers can, therefore, view

The novel Anthem by Ayn Rand and the movie The Hunger Games directed by Francis Lawrence and Gary Ross are popular among teens because they can relate to them by the high expectations put upon them. In a dystopian novel or movie, there is a dystopian protagonist. A dystopian protagonist is someone who often feels trapped, struggles to escape, questions existing systems, believes or feels as if something is wrong in the place they live in, and then helps the audience realize the effects of dystopian worlds. These are both good examples because it takes us on a walk through the protagonist's life and only then do we see what dystopian really is.
Katniss lives in a world where people live in twelve different districts. Each district preforms some task to help keep the capitol up and running, Katniss lives in district twelve where coal is mined to power the capitol city and other districts. Each district is poorer than the last with twelve being the last. This is another form of a lack of control in Katniss’s life. The capitol keeps a very strong grip on the districts so no one gets out of line and rebels. The biggest way they do this is by having a reaping once a year where one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen are chosen from each district to fight to the death in the hunger

Fictional character, Katniss Everdeen is an anecdotal character and the hero of The Hunger Games trilogy created by author Suzanne Collins. Katniss and her family originate from a coal-mining district that is the poorest of all the districts, called District 12. Over the span of the Hunger Games trilogy, Katniss volunteers to take the place of her sister, Prim after she is selected as a contestant to compete in the Hunger Games, a broadcast battle that only has one victor. Katniss signs up with kindred District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark, where the pair contend in the Games together. Katniss utilizes her insight with bows and arrows to survive, and the two turn into the victors subsequent to challenging the Capitol 's endeavor to compel one to murder the other (Collins, 2009). Katniss turns into a stirring image of defiance to the harsh Capitol and leads a rebellion that eventually takes down the capital and puts an end to the annual Hunger Games (Jacobson, 2014).
