(Attention getter): My best friend has been with me for the past 6 and I probably wouldn’t have made it through high school without him. (Reason to listen): Reid and I might not be the nicest to each other, but we both know it’s just fun and games.

We usually spent our time playing ping pong. a. We got really good and ended up buying some expensive paddles that we haven’t really used since, but we taught our selves how to hold the paddles like the Chinese players do.
2. We also enjoyed going to his back yard and playing wiffle ball.
a. We would see who could hit the ball the farthest in our home run derbies.
b. Eventually we tried to make a league with all out friends, but that didn’t turn out the way we wanted. 3. I can still remember the great Spencer family dinner moments. 4. Reid’s dad would try to annoy everyone else at the table with his little sayings, and eventually Reid and his sisters would tell him to eventually to be quiet.
Transition: Without our licenses, we were stuck with being at one of our houses, but once I turned 16 we were able to take road trips to the lake.
C. My aunt has a lake house at the Lake of the Ozarks, so Reid and I decided it would be fun to stay there for a week.
1. We were free to do just about whatever we wanted.

Fishing was something we had just got hooked on, so we laid out lines all day and all night to see if we could catch some catfish.
a. We ended up catching about 15-20 catfish over that week and about 5 of them were decent size. 4. Once the week was over we ended it with a round of mini golf. This was the first summer the annual lake trip started.

Transition: Trips like these are what keep us coming back for more adventures.
