OUTLINE
Thesis: Apollos’ personality is very similar to mine because we both delight in helping people and providing joy and we both have an open mind about the gospel. Additionally, we both have a similar pitfall, like Apollos, sometimes I do things without fully understanding what I am doing and lose focus.
I. We both delight in helping people and have an open mind about the gospel.
A. We both enjoy helping others answer questions they may have about Jesus or salvation.
B. We are open minded to learning new things about the gospel. II. We both have the shortcoming of acting without fully understanding our actions.
A. Sometimes I lose discipline and spend more time socializing than working.
B. At times, we sometimes say things without having a full understanding of what we are talking about.

TEMPERAMENT PAPER
Through the Bible, very often we find people that reflect our own temperament. People we can identify ourselves with. I found that Apollos’ temperament is very similar to mine. Apollos is, by his nature, a sanguine-phlegmatic. Apollos’ personality is very similar to mine because we both delight in helping people and providing joy and we both have an open mind about the gospel. Additionally, we both have a similar pitfall, like Apollos, sometimes I do things without fully understanding what I am doing and lose focus.
People each react to things and behave in their own way. However, through research and observation, it has become clear that people can be classified by the way they react to an experience into four main temperaments: Sanguines, melancholics, phlegmatics and chlorelics. Each temperament can define how people look at events in their lives and the effect they have in the long run. Conrad Hock notes the following about the four temperaments:
