E.E.Cummings regards on the Humanity we live inE. E.Cummings helps people realize the true reasons why he loves our humanity in terrible ways. Cummings will explain his views in sarcastic ways for readers to understand. Cummings also explain his opinions in the time period of where everything was hype. Those results in Cummings use of sarcasm to say that the time period that we live in will lead to the destruction of our humanity. Cummings thinks that The humanity we live in is not viewed in the wrong way and it’s a problem. The positive ways of our humanity is successful because there are people that are living the life they want to live. People are getting jobs, getting the relationships they want, and the lifestyle and living place is good. …show more content…

This poem is written during the middle of the roaring twenties. During this time there was a lot of crime in major cities. People were living live in this time and lots of writers got big during this time as well. There was good things about the roaring 20s but the negative side of it was prohibition. This lead to crime and Discrimination. Immigrants from southern and eastern Europe were widely viewed with suspicion and discriminated. Cummings uses sarcasm in his poem Humanity I love you to prove things about our lifestyle. He uses specific metaphors to explain himself and can be hard to define. He’s imitating other people in this poem at the same time. The sarcasm is him copying other people that aren't doing anything to help or realize our humanity. E. E. Cummings did not enjoy our humanity at all during this time knowing whats going on. In Conclusion E. E. Cummings uses sarcasm to say that the time period that we live in will lead to the destruction of our humanity. The poem Humanity I love you is a difficult poem if not looked at in the right way.
