Humanism is grounds in the belief that people are innately good. Mental and social problems occur from deviations from this natural tendency. Humanism focuses on everyone’s potential and stresses the importance of growth and self-actualization. Humanistic psychology focuses more in depth of human meanings, understandings and experiences. This type of psychology also focuses on characteristics that are shared by all human being such as love, grief, caring and self-worth. I prefer humanism more, because it focuses more towards emotions and a better understanding of self in term of observation of oneself and one’s relations with others. This type of psychology feels as if we’re digging deeper into a human’s mind and understanding the similarities
