Recommended: Role of humanism in art

Alexander DiazValle 3/3/17 1st history Humans...We as humans have invented many things including Humanism which I will explain in a bit.You see we made religion which has a big impact on humans and what we think and also invention to do what we can not.As you see humans had invented humanism,art,anatomy,and astronomy.Today we will talk about how humanism affects all of this. As you can see anatomy is one of the many things Humanism has changed.Before Humanism we believed that Zodiacs controlled a certain part of the body.On document D it shows where the zodiacs belonged to a specific portion of the human body.The people of back then believed that each zodiac would control the specific region of your body it is in according to the same document.Later on according to the text on document D,It claims that Andreas Vesalius had dissected human corpses to get a better understanding.It shows in the picture to the right that there are no zodiac symbols,just flesh, blood, and organs.Humanism has changed the …show more content…

The pictures (document A)show that before Humanism,the art was more religous.It shows that one painting is about baby Jesus on his mother Mary’s lap.After Humanism the art was about more worldly things,it shows on the same document that the Mona Lisa was a painting about a Merchant’s wife.There was new ways visually the artists would paint(document A) showing that the one from the renaissance would have more details.It shows that the newer painting has three-dimensional figures and shows the smile on the woman’s face with the straight hairline. While in comparison to the other the second painting is more complex and detailed.Humanism has changed the way people
