Like Ms.Larosa explained all the difficulty that might present having to do a lot of paperwork in a time frame, because sometime you have to spend most of the day in the field with clients. Encapsulation and Burnout Working with people can be very difficult not only because it is very hard to get along with people work and all the requirement need it, to accomplish any goal. Sometime human services worker let stresses take over their job, which sometime lead to poor work performance or poor decision maker. This term it call “ encapsulated”. Some human services worker become so overwhelmed, and most of time the only resolution is to quiet, because they can’t take for many reason which can be rule, and become inflexible to client, or start thinking that the clien does not want to be help , or think the clients are just lazy, or the worker just lost faith in their self and clients; however like Ms.LaRosa explained soemtime this experience of becoming encapsulate is good because must of the time helps you to become a better worker. The term used by Ms. LARosa is a good tenick by focusing on the reward that this proffession provide you, for example
focussing more on the possitive aspect rather than the negative aspect of the work. Another experience that professional confront, in this fild is call the “Burnout”. This condition results from negative changes in attitudes and behavior that are precipitated by job strain ( Weiten and Lloyrd 2003).Is very similar to encapsulation because they both take you to a negative behavior to your work in a day-to day environment and also to your clients. Most of the time what can take you to a burnout level is feeling frustrate or lack of motivation went results are not what you expect, also other factor can be professional work environment. There is some sign that work might need to look at, for example, loss of interest at work, not wanting to do your work, feeling negatively about everything, calling out for no reason, seem one day like a eternity. Worker need to be careful, because this syndrome can effect on how we serve our clients. Sometime worker will disrespect clients, this symptoms of burnout can also affect your physical and relationship with your significant others.
Working as a Human Service Professional can be a challenging pursuit. The attitude of the human service worker can sometimes be a problem itself. Many

To research the organisation or agency in which you have been placed, examining its role, function and service to community.
The person-in-environment approach views a client’s problems by how they react to the environmental contexts within their environment and how they occur. According to Gordon and Richmond, it has been stated that the person-in-environment approach is the “cornerstone” of social work practice. (as cited in Rogers, 2016, p.24). A clients’ systems are the interrelated aspects of a clients’ lives where all parts come together to function. Social workers utilize and focus on a clients’ systems when applying the person-in-environment. A clients’ system is anything that they interact with and hold roles in their lives. These systems can be on a micro level which is the individual and their biology, personality, and genetics. The individuals’ mezzo level would include their immediate environment, family, school, friends, or work. A macro level would include the larger social aspects of a clients’ life such as government policies, discrimination, oppression, or social class. Social workers incorporate these interactions and how they impact clients’ and their presenting problems. This theory and approach are beneficial as it allows a social worker to find out what resources are available to the client during their time with the worker (Rodgers,
By what has been presented Jimmy didn’t seem to have a positive and loving environment. His mum drank and had mental health problems. How did these factors occur? A possible lack of support for bringing up a child alone or Social-economic factors. Another area could be living in an area where people were living below the poverty line. In this instance there wouldn’t be any close ties with other people who live in the area. Being isolated in this instance with no social support from others who live close by may have had an impact on her. Having someone come out either someone she knows well or a social worker is a good social interaction with others. This can help his mum from a point of How are you doing? Do you need additional support?
Similar to other professions and/or social issues, there has been tremendous growth within the history of the human services field. There are different specializations that fall under this professional spectrum such as mental health, social work, and crisis intervention as well as several others. Dating back to the 1700s, individuals have been providing services and resources to those in need. Although each era may has placed different emphasis on specific areas, the general operation still remained the same. For example, the age of systems era and the professionalization of human services era focused on different issues but yet shared collective objectives.
The Human Service field can be challenging to people at times and rewarding as well in other moments of one’s career. What is the Human Services field exactly? The purpose of this interview is to explore human service professional in their work environment, and observe human service professional in their particular settings, what type of education is required for their position of choice. The human services profession has a variety of populations that they serve; this is a wide array of people. One of the five key principles of care practice is to ‘Support people in having a voice and being heard,’ (K101, Unit 4, p.183). The key principles are linked to the National Occupational Standards for ‘Health and Social Care’. They are a means of establishing and maintaining good care practice. Relationships based on trust and respect should be developed between care receivers and care givers, thus promoting confidence whilst discussing personal matters without fear of reprisal and discrimination.
Within the care sector it’s very important that colleagues pass information/changes to individual’s circumstances we are supporting. This could be done either between yourselves or in team meetings depending how important/urgent the information needs to be passed on/recorded. You can also support colleagues how to make new entries/changes to an individual’s care plan and the importance in doing this. Sharing information and contributing to individual’s records is a great way to improve the quality of care even exchanging views and making suggestions can make a difference to the care/support we give to the individual.
Define the term “the whole person” and explain why this is important in human services and explain the components of “the whole person”. When a client comes in for help, they come in as individuals that have a multifaceted perspective that includes psychological, biological, cultural, social, financial, educational, vocational, and spiritual components (Woodside & McClam, 2015). All these components encompass life experiences that they have been through with family, friends, their health, school, work, their legal status, residency, their safety and security, their finances, their well-being, and their accomplishments (Woodside & McClam, 2015). The perspective is integrated with the individual which forms the whole person (Woodside & McClam, 2015). The term the whole person is important in human services because when a client comes in they are not coming in with just a single problem and as human service professionals we have to look at the issue and address it as a whole instead of a single issue (Woodside & McClam, 2015).
The limitation in regards to the practice is that it is very time consuming and requires a lot of attention.
Working with others and improving own learning and performance are highly essential skills in social work. In this essay I will reflect on how well I have developed these two skills and what I need to do to improve them.
Social Work is a profession that prides itself on the ability to cultivate positive relationships with people who may be very different from us. There may be differences in age, race, personality, gender, socioeconomic status, health, sexual orientation, rank, power, and privilege, as well as beliefs regarding religion and politics. The experience of these differences can cause a Social Worker to feel emotionally and cognitively disturbed. The ability to become aware of and consciously attend to these internal disturbances can positively affect the quality of relationship we are able to
families, and communities to enhance their individual and collective well-being. Social workers are change agents and because of that, they aim to help people develop their skills and abilities to use resources provided to them to strengthen and improve their lives and communities to resolve problems. One of the main goal of social workers is to improve the well-being and lives of the most vulnerable populations, fight against poverty, unemployment, domestic violence and the underserviced population by emphasizing on the person-in-environment and social justice model. The social work profession, considerers the individuals’ internal and external struggles, while working with the individuals to examine their relationships, family, work environment, community, and other things that might impact them and identify ways to help address problems and challenges.
