Everyone, hello and welcome to the Human Ecology course. Not sure about the rest of the class, but I am excited to take this course. Only in college can you pick your own science classes that spark an interest or intriguing thought – just wish high school was this way. This is the last science class that I need for my education plan; currently going for a bachelor’s degree in sports and health science. Looking forward to the next eight weeks and I wish everyone the best of luck with there studies.
North Carolina is where I currently live; however, New Jersey is my birthplace. North Carolina is a nice place definitely a different pace from the city life. Aside from that, North Carolina has some good benefits that you cannot find in the city i.e. fishing and hunting to name a few. My employer is the United States Marine Corps, been in the service for about eight years now and love every minute. The military is not for everyone, but I highly encourage every person eligible to look into one of the branches if not all. When I am not at work or doing schoolwork, I spend most of my free time working out, riding my motorcycle, and sleeping. Sleeping to me is a hobby because it does not happen to often throughout the week. Finally, my dream vacation will be in Rome, Italy because the passion and interest I have in Greek mythology – just find it amazing. Again, good luck to everyone in this course.

...alances. For example, Hurricane Sandy damages property in Long Beach, New York. How can the environment be used to support this disaster? We can use the environment for industrial development to create new homes to relocate those with damaged homes. The government can provide resources or support to aid that family in restoring their personal property. With multiple cases, the policy can provide a balance in the resources that are expended for the humanitarian relief. We simply need the environment to develop our country and economy with our elected governor and mayor to lead the way.
